Dear love letter: You're dumped Last updated at 23:41pm on 22nd November 2007 Comments Out of love: Britons rarely write love letters nowadays Over the years, millions have chosen the written word to reveal their deepest emotions. But now, it seems, we have fallen out of love with the letter when it comes to communicating with our sweethearts. According to a survey less than one in five - 17 per cent - have received a love letter from an admirer in the past year. And only 28 per cent have had one in the past five years. More than a third - 35 per cent - of those aged between 16 and 34 have never written a letter to a loved one. That compare…

for example, at this moment I am posting on two boards. Obviously they are not the only options out there. However I feel more comfortable here and there because I've been at these boards for a while and also I have a large number of posts. Actually I have about 3500 more posts here even though I've been at the other one since july 2004

Have you ever had one of those weeks where you notice something, and then you see it everywhere? Anyone had any particularly strange examples of that? For example you get a new car, and then half the cars on the road seem to be the same type. Or people start constantly making references to the same type of bubblegum or something. Right now, I'm being stalked by Belgium. Seriously, there are random Belgium references everywhere. It started with last week's Doctor Who special, where a paradox was going to rip a hole in the universe the exact size of Belgium. (3:10) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yn_NDKNlUa8 Next on House, (I think it was House) someone mentioned B…

Don't be celebrity copycats, schoolgirls told By LAURA CLARK - More by this author » Last updated at 22:31pm on 21st November 2007 Comments (2) Kate Winslet became a victim of the airbrush when she appeared in men's magazine GQ Primary schools should teach girls how to resist pressure to conform to airbrushed images of celebrities in magazines, the Guides have declared. Guiding leaders published a survey showing that girls as young as seven are worried about their body shapes, believing slimness to be linked to popularity and intelligence. The Guides warned that anxieties about appearance begin much earlier than usually thought - several years before…

Its award season here on Coldplaying, and in the spirit of it, let me question the point of it all! Only kidding. Do you hold your awards and achievements close and dear to you? Do they mean a lot to you? Do you keep a cabinet full of trophys that you made yourself or bought at garage sales? I was pretty 'meh' about getting awards from school or sports when I was a kid (Mainly football and baseball) but I dont hate it, old medals are probably still up in the attic back home. Any excuse for celebrating is a good one, on the other hand.

what do you do for your girlfriend/boyfriend. does your girlfriend give you cool stuff like mine gives to me? ok, yes yes you may think I am super gay for loving these things. But do not be deceived, I am a big sucker for this stuff. (random assortment of the things I got) of course no one is allowed to call me "clay" however, that is the name my special lady uses for me. She has special privileges :disappointed: ... anyway now that you have seen my obsession and are currently questioning my sexuality for being this way. share the things your significant other does for you. although I will not be surprised if no one posts, because no one has a c…

In Australia, you can do an Piano exam under the AMEB (Australian Music Education Board), there are 8 levels, I just did my fourth level today! I'm happy, cus I've been studying for it for about 4months!!It was fun, I got to play some pieces, play some scales etc. But listen to (or read) this; I played a piece called Cat and mouse on the piano keys, a piece that depicts what it would sound like if a cat was chasing a mouse on a piano. The lady examining me (you go into a room, there is one person and they listen to you play) told me a story about her burmese cat that decided to go kill a possum and bring it to her front door. So here I am, sitting at a beautiful old…
