  1. Mmmk, so I've been inspired by watching Jeff Buckley interviews on youtube all night to make this thread. So here goes... I don't think anything makes me feel more sad/melancholy/depressed whatever than listening to Buckley and knowing that I can never ever ever ever see him live, ever. As much as I've liked other bands I just feel like Jeff was so inspirational and I don't think I will ever come across a more amazing person than he was. His music was just everything that I want and feel music should be. I don't care how pretentious and cheesey or whatever I sound...he was seriously fucking amazing. It was so pure, well it still is, haha, but yes it was pure and g…

Everyone gets a bit angry, but most people cant express it without looking like a tool. Yeah lets be honest. I dont mean violence of course, but passionately expressing how disrespected you feel from another person. Do you express your anger properly? Or do you run up to a person furiously, red faced, and just end up murmuring some pathetic pointless rant which makes no sense and somehow ends in you apologising in the same sentence? I dont get angry often, but when I have a reason to, I let rip. But the last time I did that was quite a while ago, and I was sortof angry the other day at someone but I almost felt embarassed to bring it up. Im very concerned.…

This, can always be a tough one, a relationship maker, or, a relationship breaker (How do I think of this stuff?!) I really dont know which is worse, being the person who says it too early, and finds out the other person isnt quite there yet, or being the person who isnt ready for such a commitment. Silly, aint it? 3 freaking words. I wish the whole thing didnt exist, I really do.

So I was pouring myself a glass of apple juice, and then there was a bunch of crap in my glass when I was about to drink it, so I figured I was using a dirty glass--so I got a new glass and poured more apple juice and drank it. :wideeyed: Yeah. The apple juice carton was full of molds. Ew ew ew... I'm gonna dieee! :freak: :laugh3: And I have an ear infection of sorts--in both ears. Life loves me.

Goodbye to the hug: How modern life is killing off embracing Last updated at 22:00pm on 2nd November 2007 Comments (11) For the touchy-feely among you it may come as something of a shock, but doctors are claiming that hectic modern life has killed off the hug. Psychologists believe everyone needs at least one cuddle a day to help them cope with the stresses of 21st century living. But our manic lifestyles - and political correctness - now apparently mean we are either too nervous or too busy to put our arms around someone we care about. A survey found that a third of people received no daily hugs, while three-quarters yearned to be hugged more than th…

Meet the spoilt bratskis - the daughters of Russia's super-rich By WILL STEWART - More by this author » Last updated at 23:31pm on 3rd November 2007 Comments Ninety years on from the Russian Revolution, a new phenomenon is gripping the former Soviet Union – the Spoilt Bratski Revolution. Young, glamorous and supremely confident, the daughters of Russia's mighty oligarchs are now making their names in everything from fashion design and pop music to television and publishing – propped up by their fathers' incredible wealth. Among the so-called Bratski Girls are Kira Plastinina, the world's youngest fashion designer, whose father Sergei is worth an estimated…

No real reason for the funny capitalised letters. OK, so you finally shut up shop for the night, and close your eyes and start trying to sleep. For some of us, you really do have to try hard. I have to hypnotise myself and it can still take hours. If youre an absolute insomniac like me, it could take anything from 2-6 hours to finally drift off, but if youre one of those people who takes less then 10 mins, I hate you. :wacky:

  12. British women look in the mirror up to 71 times a day, survey reveals By LIZ HULL - More by this author » Last updated at 08:18am on 5th November 2007 Comments (10) We all know looks go a long way in these image- obsessed days but some of us, it appears, are taking things a little too far. A quick look in the mirror to make sure no hideous malfunctions of hair, makeup or clothes have occurred is clearly no longer enough. Millions of women, with men not far behind, can't go longer than half an hour without a precautionary peek at their reflection, a survey has found. In some parts of the country, women admit to checking their appearance as many as 71 tim…

Home owners walk 22 miles a year cleaning their house Last updated at 13:21pm on 5th November 2007 Comments Exercise: Washing and drying up dishes can burn thousands of calories House-proud Brits will walk more than 22 miles every year - just by cleaning their home. Vacuuming, dusting and sweeping the floor sees people walk an average of 683 metres - or almost half a mile - every week. That's equivalent to walking round an Olympic running track 89 times, strolling round the perimeter of the London congestion charge zone or walking across the English Channel to France. And just carrying out day-to-day chores means Brits are burning off a 50,261…

I know this is a stupid place to come and pour out your hearts contents but... Today, my best friend and I, had a huge falling out. There was no screaming, just whispering and angry glances. Her name is Beatrix, I named my username (huh) after her. We are best friends. Over the week she has been hanging out with someone named Michelle, who has a reputation of stealing friends (although, you eventually regain your friends, but that is usually 2 years later). Anyway things happened and I don't know whether to hate Beatrix or to try and be her friend or ignore her or forget everything. We always to thing together and everyone else in my class has a best friend. …

Yeah lets get paranoid. But really, sometimes friends, lose touch with friends, and the result is, one of them wants to ditch the other one. Have you ever done that? And you re-assure your 'friend' by going out to meals with them, which you dont want to, going for a drink with them, which you dont want to, occasionally visiting them in a quiet, home environment, which you really dont want to, and if they get suspicious, you say "Dont be ridiculous! We're frwienz 4eva!!!" But, what happens if the table turns, and they are reassuring you? Now, of course its never happened to me before (-OR Im lieing as losing all of my friends would explain my sudden re-appea…
