The Interpreter 7/10

There were part of this movie that make me anxious and jumpy, so that was good about it. It was kinda long in bits, like with the family flashbacks. I was looking for a love plot between the two main characters, but it never happened.

The theatre sound was screwing up, the speakers were crackling, so we ended up getting free passes next time we see a movie there which was nice, it was annoying during the movie.

Gosford Park

1/10

The most boring film I've ever seen.

Two and a half hours long, and nothing happens... seriously, NOTHING happens.

Interpreter 8/10

I liked it alot, even though it was slow at the beginning. You had to pay attention to know what was going on. And I liked how it ended - very realistic.

Did you know that it was the only movie filmed inside the UN? I thought that was pretty cool, all the footage inside was neat, just to see what it looks like in there.

I did not know that no other movie has been shot in there. But yeah, it was cool to see it on the inside. Actually, a few years ago I visited NY and we went to see the UN as part of our excursions there, so yep, it was all real. :wink3: :D But they didn't let us onto any of the levels except for the first one. Security purposes I guess. I think it'd be pretty cool to work there. Even as a translator (I'm not so good with languages). More of a math/science person myself...

Be cool by john travolta and uma thurman
