You know! Harry Potter and the Chamber Of Azkaban! :laugh4:

lol sorry, I meant COS...

I started so long ago, maybe when I was like 8-10. My brother got me started on the books, told me little things before reading like how Dumbledore was the only wizard Voldemort feared, so that idea was in my head form the start.

I read the first 4 in elementary school, so I obviously missed out on a lot since I was young. I lost interest in the wait for OOTP. I came back a few years later and attempted to read OOTP, but the first chapter was too boring and I never made it past there.

Then I won tickets to see OOTP movie in theaters, and I loved it. So about a year ago I decided to try the book again. Then I sped through the final three and loved every page.

So now I started the series over again a few months ago and have been trying to go slow and pace myself. I will start OOTP again any day now.:D

sweet. When my parents came up a couple days ago to get my laptop I asked them to bring along GOF, but they brough DH instead :dozey:.

But during spring break (while other college students are enjoying drunken bashes down in Florida )

I think I'll start rereading the first three. I've forgotten so much about the tasks in Sorceror's Stone. There was obviously so much more than the movie showed.

Hey I've gotta run out for a couple hours, but if you're still online, I leave you a challenge!

You know how people refer to a condensed version of LOTR's as "The Return of the Fellowship of the two Kings Tower's"?

Try doing that with all seven potter books! :D :laugh3:

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Chamber of Prisoners of Fire and the Order of the Half-Blood Hallows.

easy:dozey:

The new trailer/commentary thing looks awesome!

I was home sick the other day and decided to reread GoF yet again. It's crazy how many things (both big and little) that they left out in the movie.

I found an inconsistency in the series! Well, I think I did. In the end of the 4th book, when Harry, Ron, and Hermione are waiting for the carriages to come and take them to the Hogwarts Express, it mentions something about how Harry sees the horseless carriages. But in the 5th book, he can see the thestrals that pull the carriages, and the reason behind that is that he saw Cedric being killed. So why couldn't he see the thestrals in the end of GoF, since he had just seen Cedric get killed then, too?

Interesting...can you quote the exact line? That might be proof that she is human and couldn't possibly have anticipated all the important details of future books.

"Hermione turned away, smiling at the horseless carriages that were now trundling toward them up the drive, as Krum, looking surprised but gratified, signed a fragment of parchment for Ron." (page 726).

So it's not exactly Harry who "saw" the carriages, but still, I assume he would've noticed and said something if he could see the thestrals.

Happy belated birthday Ron

In celebration, I think we should all watch a lovely episode of Potter Puppet Pals! :jester:
