Hmmm. I think Old World Underground is sort of the universal fan favourite. I personally like Grow Up and Blow Away to bits and would recommend it.

^ Old World Underground was the first album I heard by Metric and I didn't fall in love. I love half the songs on there, but I don't like the other half much :\ I suggested Live It Out.

At least they weren't as unfortunate as Muse to get the lead single to the soundtrack. This way, Metric is less likely to be associated with the Twilight franchise and we'll get a new song in the process! (although granted, people still associate "Help I'm Alive" with The Vampire Diaries)

 

New Moon's soundtrack was also very good (I mean, we got Hearing Damage out of it!). I have high hopes for this in spite of the fact that I will never, ever see the movie.

If its good music I don't care what movie its part of.

Will talk about it tomorrow it's late, but i will say that was one loud concert! (one of the loudest I've ever been to... my ears are still ringing almost 3 hours later!)

now i know next time to bring ear plugs to concerts just in case... don't really want to go deaf before i reach 30 (not just concerts but jamming too)

Especially compared to sick muse or gold gun girls.

Emily did a couple of acoustic shows this week at Sydney's Opera House. would loved to have gone down but bloody exams got in the way.

This song (all yours) is just great! Twilight movie wasn't good at all, but soundtracks are amazing.
