Is it me or has Régine lost all her joy in performing?

I haven't gotten that vibe. The problem is she never gets to be in the forefront on Reflektor.

Yeah, I followed a path similar to yours. I am a big fan of VLV and MX (the "midplay" era, ahah) and when I discovered that Coldplay mentioned several times AF as an influence during that period, I st

Her demonic damnation from the underworld is the best part of Joan Of Arc.

She doesn't have a song of her own on Neon Bible either.

She does. They just put two songs into one track. (Black Wave/ Bad Vibrations)

Well It's Never Over is kind of similar then. She sings the lead in the first part.

But you are hitting on the right things. Indeed, I felt Reflektor is sorely missing Regine. :\

I wonder what became of this song...

Odd that they would use it for an ad for the album and then it not be on there...

Not that I'm complaining. LOVING Reflektor as it is but just wanted to point this out.

I forgot about that!!! Damn, that sounded like a good song. Arcade Fire is just so good, guys. Have you realized that?

Discovery now Speaking in tongues is really great

Perhaps it might be more than that. See them perform at the New Orleans Jazz Festival in 2011 and you can see her almost like being herself or something, just dancing around & smiling even when she's not singing. Now she seems to be having a harder time (she also put on weight), it could be something personal. Time will tell.

K. Sorry. :disappointed: I love her too, her songs are among my favorites. :dazzled:

She had a damn baby. :P

And I don't think she's particularly unenthusiastic, the whole band frankly seems a bit underwhelming while performing new songs. I think this is because they're substantially more "electronic" so there's less for them to do on stage.

Have you been to the Coldplay section?

Oh come on, she was pregnant during the most of the recording sessions. That also explains why she put on weight, as you say. Even though I really don't see it. Think she looks as great as always.

Wouldn't most bands be a bit more reserved when presenting new music? I feel like that's how it is for most bands.

Well, yeah, that too. Reflektor on SNL was particularly clumsy for a band that's so tight live but they'll get better once they've perfected performing the new songs and when they get a better feedback from the audience when they learn the new songs.

Can't wait to see them live!

See their performance the other day outside of Capital Records and you will understand why you are wrong.

Does the album comes with a booklet with lyrics to all the songs? Thanks!

Well, it's very difficult to pick up my favourites between all the beautiful songs that Reflektor has, but after a couple of listens, I would say that mine are:

1. It's Never Over (Oh Orpheus)

2. Normal Person

3. Joan Of Arc

4. Porno

5. Supersymmetry

These ones apart from Reflektor, the single. God, but the other ones are amazing too.

Does the album comes with a booklet with lyrics to all the songs? Thanks!

Here's the digital booklet, I don't know if there's a physical one, probably.

(And yes, all the lyrics are there along with 50 photos.)

Does anyone else think Porno is fantastic?

Little boys with their porno.

Totally.
