Hey people, which song do you think that will be the next single? Or let's go even further, which songs do you think that will be taken from Reflektor as singles? I'm gonna bet for You Already Know, Afterlife and maybe Here Comes The Night Time and/or Flashbulb Eyes. They are just so catchy. Although I love the other ones, I don't see them as singles.

So I finally listened to the album and here's my review... I put it in spoilers because it's not something that most of you want to read.

1.00 - Hidden Track: Boring and pointless. At least it flows nicely into Reflektor.

1.01 - Reflektor: I couldn't stomach the song when I heard it for the first time. However, it's grown on me over time and I think it might suit the mood of the album. Also, I would make it just a tad shorter (ie. not longer than 6 minutes because 7:34 is stretching it a little too much for my taste).

1.02 - We Exist: I like that line played on the synth. It's an intriguing song but I don't really think it goes anywhere. Looping.

1.03 - Flashbulb Eyes: Ehhh. I like the rhythm but that's about it. Lovely exotic instruments in the back but the song does nothing for me.

1.04 - Here Comes the Night Time: the rhythm reminds me of pop songs that would be played in cheap clubs.

1.05 - Normal Person: The bit at the beginning (that makes the song sound as though it's played live) is lame but the song sounds promising. The vocals and the guitar line are cool.

1.06 - You Already Know: That bit at the start again. Just... no. I like the rest of the song, though.

1.07 - Joan of Arc: I think this one's my favourite so far.

2.01 - Here Comes the Night Time II: It's a nice way to open the second disc. However, I lost my interest towards the end.

2.02 - Awful Sound (Oh Eurydice): Meh. It's too long and it doesn't go anywhere. B-side material. It starts getting interesting at about 4:30.

2.03 - It's Never Over (Oh Orpheus): This one sounds promising. I think I like it.

2.04 - Porno: It's okay. Not sure it lives up to the name. Hmmm. It's also about 2 minutes too long for my taste and it starts dragging. The abrupt ending does it some good.

2.05 - Afterlife: It's better than Porno.

2.06 - Supersymmetry: Ohh I like the way it starts and the vocals are nice. Aaand then it gets way too long and boring. Sorry.

Pros: some songs are quite upbeat and catchy. The album is long but as a whole, it didn't seem like it was dragging.

Cons: too many songs, some of which were too long. Unfortunately, these songs were also the most boring ones. Maybe I'm just not in the right mood.

Just Supersymmetry instead of Normal Person.

Afterlife is probably the next single though. I'm kind of over it but it does sound most like "a single".

I have a feeling that Reflektor might be the only single btw. Which is fine with me but I'd like a couple more videos.
