But those pics were taken in Miami...which is like 4 hours away. The city where I live its veeeery boring(despite being a major tourist destination!:stunned:)

Very nice pictures! Loving the urban colors, the contrast with the cement color and the sky, trees etc etc. So pretty! :D

 

 

I've updated my FLICKR with some of my older photography, from New York City. I love the city sooo much, I think that much is obvious. I really aspire to be a photographer based there. It's just so perfect to photograph, so many people, so many things, so many opportunities. I'm really in love with it :laugh4: Some of these pictures, actually, are what have inspired me to put more of myself into photography.

 

Sorry, don't mean to give a long spiel and story for all my pictures, but these are actually very close to me. They're sort of raw, not perfect or anything and you can see my experimentation going on with different photoshopping techniques. But I still enjoy them ;)

Just checked those and they are brilliant. I mean that, they're very inspiring :nice: I love it how you can tell it's you taking those pictures, but still you can see the improvement in your work by seeing newer photos. It's as if in every photo there is a tiny hint of identity to them. I liked every single one, but I found more connected to the Strawberry Fileds set, in a personal level. I've been there and it's so magic, and you show that perfectly in your photography. Kinda dreamlike, if you get what I mean.

 

Current favourites are #34, #18 and #20.

And I totally agree about the motorway signs. So very American, I love those too. And when I saw that picture I instantly thought of NYC, crossing the bridge to Brooklyn. I know it's a totally different bridge, but still!

emm well i did these couple of avatars yesterday on Photoshop.. coz i found extra options that i downloaded .. from the internet.. & so now i don't know which thread they might fit in.. except this.. hehe i hope i'm not mistaken.. but anyhow.. i'm sharing them with u.. so if anyone wants to use one of them.. feel free to do so.. ;) :)

well..you could create a few different ones from the same wallpeper, I mean you could write drifferent things on each of them and then go back and pick out your favourite

heres a photo i took earlier today with my camera phone. i reckon its pretty good with the sun shinining through the leaves as well as the metal grates.... a phone photo its not quite bad....

yeah it's really good for a phone photo, they usually get so blurry I think, and I agree with you, the sun shinining through the leaves looks really nice :nice: the shy is pretty too
