So the album has leaked?? Well, I'm happy that the reviews here are positive.

 

I really don't know if I should listen to the leak? Is it still available? There's still exactly one month to go...I guess I could wait, but I'm really excited to listen to it!! Dilemma!

it comes out July 1st.

 

and the leak is worth the listen. with Editors I always listen to them for months on end once an album comes out so it's worth investing the time now considering so many songs off the album were heard during their most recent live dates.

 

don't know how this record will be critically reviewed. I potentially see critics viewing songs like Nothing and What Is This Thing Called Love a bit TOO much for Editors because they really don't get the appreciation they deserve, but in terms of the music on this album is that it's really accessible from the string like songs I mentioned earlier or more guitar rock tunes like Hyena and Formaldehyde

Can anyone tell me what is the real length of Formaldehyde? I just downloaded the album and it is supposed to be 3:06, but the wikipedia says that it is 3:50.

^In the leak it's 3:50, and iTunes says it's 3:50 as well... where are you getting a 3:06 version from?

Not feeling this album unfortunately.

 

Only Sugar is a stand out track for me. The rest are pretty forgettable. And I realised that they can't do slow songs. They are extremely boring in this album.

I love this album, won't top An End Has a Start for me but love the strings on Nothing and Formaldehyde, Hyena and Honesty ooo and What Is This Thing Called Love, how convenient for me then are tracks 4-8 :D

Absolutely loving the album my favorites at the moment: ''What is this thing called love'' and ''Honesty'' So beautiful!:)

For me it's Sugar. Definitely. I haven't listened to the whole album yet, but Sugar just stands out IMO. The lyrics are particularly touching as well.

I just saw them two days ago at INmusic festival and WOOOW! At one point I started crying. The new songs are great, specially "Nothing". The old songs are amazing, we all know that. The new members sound very good too.
