Well...yesterday was my gig!!! :D And it was FANTASTIC!!! What a breathtaking performance!!! Still blown away! Not many people were queuing. I was there two hours before the doors opened and I got front row easily! But just before the concert, the hall was filled, thank goodness! ;)

Tom played No Sound But The Wind acoustic on the guitar and he said he had never done it like that before, it was beautiful :wacky:

 

After the concert, I met him and Justin briefly! So happy!!!

Very good setlist! Unfortunately, I'm very bad at remembering songs in order but it was quite long! It never feels long enough ofc, but they played a lot of songs :D

So we arrived three and a half hour before the doors opened at the Ziggo Dome, being the fourteenth and fifteenth people in the queue. After the doors opened, we ran inside and there we were, front row!!

The setlist was amazing, unfortunately most people went chatting during Tom's beautiful acoustic version of No Sound but the Wind.

 

After the show, a roadie threw some drumsticks in the crowd, and guess what, I catched one!!! (another advantage of being tall :D)

Last night's show was absolutely stunning! Got no words to describe how amazing it was but I'll try! We were in Vak 105 near the back but my friend and I went on an adventure and ended up in Vak 102, virtually right next to the stage! (I've had seats thereabouts for Radiohead once).

 

Balthazar were so amazing, there was one particular song I don't know the name of that they played but it had this weird little sound on the keyboard in the Chorus (I filmed some of it - http://www.youtube.com/e2471) - does anyone want to identify it for me? :D

 

And of course Editors were just bloody fantastic. My friend had never heard of them until tonight (was also his first concert) and he absolutely loved it! I have a feeling that this show is gonna be filmed and released on DVD. It's the biggest show on the tour by a million miles (Bar Antwerpen) and there was a film crew there filming everything. It showed up on the screens on the side but I'm sure they'll release this on DVD as a Tour video. It's probably gonna be the biggest show they play on their whoooole tour. Also, the flames, sparks and confetti were extra special! Do they have that at all shows or was that all Ziggo Dome only?

 

But yeah, tonight I'm writing my review and I'll post it here!

Antwerp last night was my first concert ever and every single one that follows will have a very hard time beating this one. It was absolutely unreal :dazzled: We queued for 3 hours and were able to dash to the front row :wacky: Balthazar was really good, their set should have been a bit longer in my opinion :p

 

 

and then Editors. We got everything, confetti, fire,... All the 18.000 people were singing No Sound But The Wind with Tom! There were only highlights. I don't really know how to describe it in sentences so I'll just do it with some adjectives and pictures. First-rate, amazing, genius, fantastic, magnificent, ... :dead: Actually: Perfect.
