Apple's older than 5, isn't she? I thought she was about seven? So if that's the case, this would've occurred a few years ago - long before Mr. Martin sported his studs.

Yeah, I think she's 6 1/2, and Chris had said in an interview a year or so ago, he was too old for a piercing, that at his age to get it done would be silly:rolleyes:

They're very rarely seen together, but Gwyneth Paltrow was out and about today in New York with brother Jake Paltrow.

 

Jake, 35, is the lesser-known sibling, despite being a successful film director in his own right. And in his waistcoat and brown corduroy trousers, Jake looked even more influenced by British style than his sister.

 

 

The Iron Man star looked her usual chic self in black Burberry boots, a black turtleneck and a navy blue Burberry coat. They were joined by Jake's girlfriend, art photographer Taryn Simon.

 

Jake directed The Good Night in 2008, which starred his famous sister in the lead. And he has admitted in the past that being part of a famous family means it was much easier for him to go into show business.

 

 

He says: 'By virtue of being around it the whole time, it gives you a certain understanding, not only of the craft, but of the lifestyle.'

But he insists that despite Gwyneth's fame, they are a normal family.

 

He says: 'The four of us are a fairly normal family group. There just happens to be a public side, and that public side is much more connected to Gwyneth’s fame and celebrity rather than my parents.'

Yeah I got my ears pierced when I was a baby too. :P Good thing too, cause I sure don't remember if I felt any pain. :)

haha Thanks! It's the poster I made for the LA show I went to a few summers ago. On the butterflies are all the concert dates I saw them. I stood right infront of the c-stage at the Raleigh show and Chris saw my poster and smiled. :) It was fantastic.
