Gwyneth Paltrow & Beyonce: Double Date!

After performing at the 2009 BET Awards separately, Beyonce and Jay-Z step out on a double date with good pals Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin at Madeo Restaurant in Beverly Hills on Sunday (June 28).

An onlooker tells People that both couples were “definitely having a good time and laughing.” At one point, the group switched seats so the ladies could sit next to each other in the booth while the guys sat on the outside. Cute!

awe! they were celebrating my bday!:lol:

Gym Gossip: Details on Tracy Anderson and Gwyneth's Gym

Tue, 06/30/2009

Last January when asked if you would want to join Gwyneth's gym she was planning to open with her trainer Tracy Anderson, most of you were not swayed by the celebrity affiliation.

Well, the inner workings of the gym have been revealed, and for starters it is not a gym — it's a studio. Let's start with the cost of joining the gym studio. The initiation fee ranges from $790 for a six-month membership to $1,500 for a full year. The monthly fees are $900 a month. For that hefty price, you can choose from 85 classes offered weekly, featuring cardio dance aerobics, which Gwyneth described by saying, "It's fun because it's not like you're running mindlessly on a treadmill." And running is something Tracy thinks you should never do, since she believes running creates too much bulk on your backside, and "a bulked-up bottom is not a pretty one." But I digress. To see what else you get for $900, read more.

Unfortunately, Anderson will not be taking on clients at the Tribeca studio. She splits her training time between the two stars that made her famous, business partner Gwyneth and Madonna, whom Tracy and staff refer to as M. However, members will receive personalized attention from her staff. Every member receives a customized program every 10 days, which is good since it is recommended that you work out at for at least 30 minutes, but preferably 60 minutes, six days a week. Whatever you do, don't supplement Tracy's work with yoga. Tracy wants your undivided attention, and has forbidden her star clients to practice yoga.

If you cannot make it to the Tracy Anderson Studio, you can try her method with a free mini webisode. Since the gym is out of my budget, I think I am gonna head out for a run. What about you?

Is it ok if I believe Tracy Anderson is a moron and Gwyn would be better off without all the hoohah surrounding her? It ain't doing her any good apart from "ZOMGZ TRIM BODIEZ!".

from what i know of tracy anderson, i think gwyneth would benefit of removing herself from any sort of business dealings. then again, i think lots of us probably have a friend we shouldn't really be friends with because they're bad news or just general morons, so i can't blame gwyneth all that much :P

Because I see so many runners that just have huge asses? No. Not at all actually... professional runners all look pretty svelt to me... Take Paula Radcliffe: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d0/Paula_Radcliffe_2007_New_York_marathon.jpg

and running is pretty well one of the best cardiovascular activities you can do to burn fat.

Oy vey tracy, oy vey.

I like running :D

Guy runs.....you can barely see his ass

What's wrong with Tracy Anderson? *CURIOUS!*

And sad :disappointed:

Gwyneth Paltrow says Spain changed her life

NEW YORK (AP) — Gwyneth Paltrow speaks almost perfect Spanish — and she does it with an Iberian accent.

The Oscar-winning actress says she traveled to Spain as a teenager, fell in love with the country, and embraces the culture to the point that she visits at least once a year and makes sure her young children, Apple and Moses, also speak the language.

"When I was 15, I went to a small town outside Talavera de la Reina and I had the most wonderful experience. It really changed my life," Paltrow said in fluent Spanish during a recent interview.

Paltrow said Spain "became a second home."

"It is so different from the United States. It seemed to have a history, and the buildings are years and years and years old. Here in the United States an old building is about 17 (years old), and over there it's from 500 B.C., it's incredible," she said.

"Also, the way people live over there. They seem to enjoy life a little bit more. They aren't running around as much as in New York. They enjoy time with the family. They don't always have their Blackberries on."

Paltrow remains close to the family she lived with in Spain, calling them "my Spanish mother" and "my brothers" from Spain. Her success as an actress, she says, hasn't impressed them.

The 36-year-old actress, who is married to Coldplay's Chris Martin, says she talks to her children in Spanish.

"Moses speaks a little bit, but understands everything. Apple speaks a lot," she says.

Paltrow shot "Spain ... on the Road Again" with chef Mario Batali, cooking expert Mark Bittman and actress Claudia Bassols. They traveled throughout the country, sampling traditional foods and praising the virtues of Spain, its people and cuisine.

She's also writing a book on U.S. cuisine with Spanish influence that is due out next year.

" ... I love food, I love to eat," she says. "I can't go on diets. I have to do a lot of exercise."

She also enjoys Mexican, Italian and Japanese food.

"I'm always playing with different flavors. If I remember a phenomenal meal I had in a country, I think of its ingredients, and how I can make it in my own kitchen."

Paltrow recently launched a Spanish-language version of her Web site, GOOP.com, a weekly bulletin in which she writes on topics ranging from health advice and travel to fashion and cooking. Contributors include Madonna, Steven Spielberg and Deepak Chopra.

Has she considered acting in Spanish?

"I would love to. I haven't found the script yet, but the first (movie) would have to be a small role, not very important, because I imagine I would have to get used to acting in Spanish," she says.

Paltrow says she'd like to work with Spanish directors Pedro Almodovar and Alejandro Amenabar and Mexico's Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu. And she says she would like to work again with Mexico's Alfonso Cuaron, who directed her in 1998's "Great Expectations."

She is now shooting "Iron Man 2," in which she reprises her role as Pepper Potts.

"We're all back together: Robert Downey, Jon Favreau, the director. And Scarlett Johansson is with us, Mickey Rourke. ... It's a phenomenal group, we are having a great time."

I think it's very commendable that she's teaching them to speak it from an early age :D

definitely, they probably pronounce it in a really cute way

if I have kids in the future, I'll try to talk to them in English so they'll learn faster :P

Chris calling out to Gywn while running from the playroom to the kitchen......

Chris- Luv, our kids are speaking in a language I don't speak... (wide Eyed) and their talking it to me.....

Gywn: Sit down Christopher, have some chocolate.:laugh3:

my god, the reworking of the quotes in the daily mail version is PATHETIC.

i think the original article is adorable :nice:. and from what we've seen from concerts, chris can kinda hold his own in spanish too! :D

God, I'm an ONTD member, but sometimes I wonder why I am, because everyone that comments on anything is just horrible to people they don't know and have never met. It's terrible. I hate all the reading between the lines...if she went out and did something really moronic, I guess I'd say have at it, but people like Gwyneth never rock the boat like some other celebs that deserve the hate, and they get the brunt of the cruelty for little reason.

Totally. She just can't seem to do anything right in the eyes of some people. And what has she done? Really? Certainly nothing to justify the level of hate that is thrown her way.
