My apologies then. It's just the other day I went onto the public profile of one of your friends to send them a message about getting permission to use some of their video footage for something. Only when I get there the page is full of nasty comments about jonny's fiancée from you two. Don't worry - I didn't read your conversations. I have no desire to read that kind of stuff and the comments on the front page were enough to make me leave immediately and never go back. So forgive me for making that incorrect assumption about your comments, I was just basing it on what I read.

 

Anyway, this is a Gwyneth thread so let's get back to that.

This is a public forum so obviously there are no issues of privacy on members' pages, but it was a silly, immature conversation that mentioned no names specifically and was kept off the main part of the board.

 

I would and have never posted a thread or a comment in a thread where I have mentioned anyone by name explicitly and then slagged them off. I know this board gets read and I always try to ensure I don't post anything that could be seen instantly and would cause hurt. So I don't appreciate this 'holier than thou' attitude you direct towards anyone who has said anything you disagree with, especially when you have read half of it elsewhere, made an assumption and then aired it to everyone. Like I said, this is a public board, but come on, I can't help but feel you were just looking for an excuse.

 

Anyway, like you said, this is the Gwyneth thread so lets just get on with that.

By the way, not sure if this has been posted yet, is a promo pic of Gwyneth in the new Iron Man, apparently she has been promoted to CEO of Stark Industries :smart:

Oh, I hope you haven't already watched it... It's AWFUL. I don't specifically remember liking or disliking Gwyn in it, it had more to do with an awful story and David Schwimmer's character was just completely unlikable. that was my opinion, anyway. ;) I saw the other day someone mentioned something about Sliding Doors... That one I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. :D

I love Sliding Doors too and The Royal Tenenbaums :D

 

I haven't seen the Pallbearer but I did see View From the Top which is soooo bad, but she admits that herself :P

I didn't actually want to raise it. If I had I would have done it the other day. I only did raise it when I misunderstood your comment and thought you made the comment on the main board. For that I apologised.

 

But you know what, it actually it doesn't matter if you don't name names - you made it perfectly clear who it was about in what you said. And using mean nicknames based on the way she looks isn't better than using her name. It's worse. Taking it back to Gwyneth, whenever she does anything the media or people on gossip websites mock her and call her nicknames. It's just uncalled for whatever the circumstances and I think the same respect should be paid to all the parner's of the boys. I'm not being holy about it - I'm just replying to you.

If I had wanted to say something nasty about Chloe on this board, on the record, I would have done it. But I haven't - so I do take some offense to your original reply to me about all the bitchy comments.

 

As Mich said, this is a public forum. There are lots of things posted on this board that I find inappropriate or disrespectful. If I think it is something completely offensive, I report it. If not, then I live with it or find a way to reconcile my feelings about it.
