Gwyneth...

Featured Replies

I have a biography about Coldplay, and it says that they Gwyeth took some friends to a concert at Wembley Arena and two weeks later she was watching the gig in Dublin... It was while she was working for the film Ted and Sylviia...

Can you please share that biography? I'd very much appreciate it.

I think she was just trying to say, that this is the Gwyneth Thread, not the Chris and Gwyneth thread, open for her fashion, movies, singing, interviews, ect....

If Chris is mentioned in her articles and interviews that's great, but to keep posting about their Love life really wasn't what this thread was about.

I would advise you not to start a new thread in the CP section "Chris and Gwyneth", that won't go over very well.

If I wanted to discuss Gwyneth's filmography and modeling, there are far more informative websites that I would visit. Gwyneth has a thread on coldplaying.com b/c of her association with the Coldplay frontman. You prefer to look at her as an entity, I prefer to look at the 2 of them as 1 entity. Until the mods tell me that my posts don't belong on this thread, just don't waste your breath. You can just scroll past my posts if you're not interested.

Gwyneth is one of the most famous women in the world, one of the most beloved women of the world

I am really fan of Gwyneth for his personality kind and nice sense of humor and for his work :)

and true not have much talent as her a reality. nothing to compare (An designer & artist of arts but people did not appreciate my creations) and I am not cultivated as her.

and I think many women in showbiz are less interested to listen .

And besides she is so passionate when talking about Chris. Yes Gwyneth is a woman in love.

Well, I wasn't rude to you, and wasn't wasting my breath as you said:dozey: I was trying to be courtious to you and extend some info to you, but your view of Her isn't as an actress, author, singer, your view is Chris's other half, it's like you going to the Chris thread and constantly posting that you want more info on their Love life, believe you me, they will jump all over you for this on that thread:D

IF there are articles that Gwyneth does, or interviews talking about her husband and kids I think thats cool to discuss, but your constant, need to know about every detail of their life as a couple is mute, since , most of us have already told you what we know. IBDM is a good source of info on Gywneth, or google her and Chris if you want to read hundreds of older articles, I just wouldn't read too much into the articles tho, most of them are false;)

Nope.

Matt Damon had some great things to say about working with GP again.

What I don't understand are Coldplay fans who come in this thread to hate on her. Obviously Chris loves her, so why would you disrespect someone you like by saying rude things about their wife? Just curious.

^ I don't know.

Just because she's Chris' wife doesn't mean that I'll like her. Maybe I knew about her BEFORE I knew she was his wife.

No you don't have to like her just because she's Chris's wife. I'm saying why the need to post distasteful stuff about her on a Coldplay site?

IDK, maybe I just come at this from a different angle. I love Coldplay and I love Chris. How do you think it would make him feel to know people are posting rude stuff about his wife on the biggest fan site for his band? I can't imagine it would make him feel good.

And FYI, I was a Gwyneth fan long before I knew who Coldplay was.

Well...a little birdie told me back in November that the reason CP members stopped visiting this site was because of what certain, unkind individuals posted about their other halves...they couldn't understand how people who claimed to be their fans could be so cruel about the people they love...

Yikes :uhoh: Really?

In that case then maybe I should say sorry.

I wonder if theres so way I can send it..

Now I just feel bad.

A good rule to follow for this thread is "reliable source or be quiet". Saves your brain a lot of hurt figuring out one twisted tale from another.

God, that's terrible

I'll never understand the need for anyone to publicly talk or post about someone they don't know so hatefully. Not that I'm some model of behavior, but I either like a person or am neutral towards them, especially when it has to do with someone I know nothing about except from what the media feeds me. I don't understand why the whole "say something nice or nothing at all" adage is so hard sometimes.

Ohh, I think the same way you can belive that she's a great person could be the same way I belive that she's a bad person. You guys don't know her either. I'm not saying that I'm right, I could be wrong. But so can all of you.

But I'll admit that in some point I've crossed the line. But I have said with reason why I dislike her, back then I would say really awful things (publicly) but now I just say calmy smirky remarks like, "Yikes she looks awful" or "haha nope, she's spoiled".

Either way, you could just be saying that so I'd feel bad and stop posting.

I don't really think it's about being right or wrong about what a person is actually like, I think it's about erring on the side of respect. Not that not a single critical word can't be uttered ever, I just don't see what's so fun about being publicly negative about a person, or really about anything when it's not constructive. There are ways to debate the merit of things while still being fair and within reason.

I have this gripe pretty much everywhere, least of all in this thread, so I'll shut up for now :escaping:

Well atleast you're reasonable. One fan was started bashing at me, yet again I was sort of rude back then.

I don't think it's fun.. It's just that. Hm, how can I explain this.

I seem to like to express my feeling towards her I guess.. But I also don't feel the need to debate about it because at the end people have their opinions. Some can't be changed and I don't come to convince you to feel the same way about her as I do. You could like her, I now understand that it is an opinion. And I have mine.

Plus, it's not an appreciation thread. If the question is "Why vent on things, people or any other topic?" People do it all the time, about anything. At some point you must not like something and you just can't keep it forever in your mind. Why I do it here, because there is no other place.

COOLIO LONG POST~

Because it's annoying to see always "good, perfect, stuning, amazing"

lick and eat the boots of the paltrow :laugh3:

Now that's just heartbreaking to know they have read some of the distasteful stuff posted on these boards :(

Her appeal to me is the woman she's become, putting her family first. That's what we have in common and that's what I admire the most about her.

Yes I'm an hopeless romantic, wanting to know how they met. That doesn't mean that I want to know every detail of their life. And even if I did, it's no worse than some of you molesting every Chris' picture. I bet she'd feel safer with me.

BTW courtesy use to look very different when I was growing up. All I've read in your replies toward me is condescension. Keep your focus on Gwyneth's career and let me obsess on her as a wife and mother. Just don't tell me what I should post on her thread anymore. I know I'm not breaking any rules.

Nope.

why you talk about Gwyneth Paltrow if you do not like her, and why you are obsessed by the marriage of Gwyneth & Chris ?

you said :

yes i am obsessed with their marriage :(

God, that's terrible

when I criticize when I hear things said by people themselves.

an example of when you hear about Chris when he talks about Gwyneth. ( and is rarely) is a joke to tell. and people say it's just a joke to the American .

- Its a bit ironic that he is actually promoting his music in the end

- Plus Gwyneth's making drumsticks

I love your distorted analogy of everything I have posted on here to you:dozey: Too bad your reading "condescension" in my replies, if that's what your feeling so be it, I've tried being nice, then civil, afformative to you, but you keep telling me to NOT tell you off, I didn't do that. Post what the hell you want. I don't need to reason with you on the subject anymore I'm far to old for that.

Sad, and exactly to my point.
