Here is the article: Gwyneth Paltrow saved a life on 9/11. While driving through New York, Gwyneth nearly ran over a jaywalker. Lara Lundstrom Clarke told The Morton Report that Gwyneth “waved me across, I crossed and she continued on her way. At least if I was late for work I had a story to tell.” The delay over who should go first was long enough to make Clarke miss her train to work in the World Trade Center. “If I had made that train I would have been at my desk on the 77th floor of 2 World Trade Center,” says Clarke. She personally thanked Gwyneth in a letter, who was said to be very touched. What I will say is that I will never, ever believe anything negative written concerning them as a couple unless they say it themselves, let's just say, "They know what they are doing, staying away from the paps."
