Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly converting to Judaism, the Daily Mail reports.

Sources say that the 41-year-old actress has developed an interest in Kabbalah and that her desire to raise her kids in the Jewish faith may have contributed to her split with Coldplay singer Chris Martin earlier this year.

In 2011, Paltrow appeared on the show

where she was told that she was descended from a line of influential Eastern European rabbis. How’s that for a wake-up call?

Paltrow is also close friends with Michael Berg, a co-director of the Kabbalah Center in Los Angeles, which gives spirituality lessons to other celebrities such as Madonna and Lindsay Lohan.

This news does not come as a total surprise, since Paltrow’s father was Jewish and one of her sons is named Moses. The Daily Mail notes that Paltrow described herself as a “Jewish princess” in an interview with The Guardian five years ago.

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow is set to host President Barack Obama at her Los Angeles home for a fundraiser in October.

Paltrow’s event is Oct. 9 and runs between $1,000 to $32,400 per seat, The Hollywood Reporter reported on Friday. The invite was sent by the DNC to donors, the outlet said.

Paltrow, who famously split from her husband—Coldplay’s Chris Martin—earlier this year with an announcement on her website that the pair was “consciously uncoupling,” has been a strong Obama backer. She has attended past fundraisers for the president, and as noted by The Hollywood Reporter, held a re-election fundraiser for Obama in 2012.

Obama attended a fundraiser in Tinseltown in July at the home of “Scandal” creator, Shonda Rhimes.

Gwyneth and Chris/Coldplay are now doomed to get the world "uncoupling" used in some way in every single news title forever, aren't they? :|

The shame of it is, I think the media would have left them alone a whole heck of a lot more if they just came out and said something like after 10 yrs together, we have decided its best to separate althought we remain friends, our marriage just is not working....or something along those lines.

People would have been like OMG but then it would have calmed down, now its just this worldwide joke that I dont find funny tbh.

I'm actually kinda shocked Chris went along with the uncoupled thing, its very snooty and elitist, I expect it from her, but I honestly didnt from him....unless he was just over it all and said do what you want and stick me name on it lol

Have you listened to her interview with Howard Stern? She kind of explains why she used that term. It's quite a nice interview too.

wtf?

http://www.express.co.uk/life-style/style/555002/Gwyneth-Paltrow-Goop-vagina-steam-cleanse

[h=1]For the love of Goop! Gwyneth Paltrow waxes lyrical about vagina steam cleanse[/h] [h=3]LAST week we were introduced to the concept of a 'vagina facial' on ITV daytime show This Morning, and now Gwyneth Paltrow has waded in on the craze with LA spa treatment V-Steam[/h]

Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle blog Goop used to be a source of inspiration for quinoa recipes and eccentric fitness workouts.

But now the 42-year-old actress is turning her focus away from health crazes to bizarre beauty treatments.

Gwyneth has told her female blog followers to head to a vagina spa in Santa Monica, where they can have their vaginas steamed.

Speaking about the Korean spa, Chris Martin's ex-wife wrote: "Tikkun is the next level when it comes to Korean spas, combining high-tech far infrared heat with traditional Korean sauna therapies.

"So, if you want to lay down in a Himalayan salt brick tiled sauna, or sit in a Hwangto clay room, you get the added benefit of far infrared heat.

"And, in addition to the sauna rooms, there’s a long menu of massages and kick-a** body scrubs to complement the sauna time."

Gwynnie went into more specific detail adding: "We’re burying the lede though, because the real golden ticket here is the Mugworth V-Steam: You sit on what is essentially a mini-throne, and a combination of infrared and mugwort steam cleanses your uterus, et al."

Praising the unconventional treatment, the blonde actress said: "It is an energetic release—not just a steam douche—that balances female hormone levels.

"If you’re in LA, you have to do it."

Tikkun Holistic Spa is located in Santa Monica, not far from the Pacific Palisades home the Oscar winner now resides in.

This isn't the first time the mother-of-two has talked about her private parts.

In 2013 she said she 'rocked a '70s vibe' with her pubic hair.

However, not everyone is happy with Gwyneth's beauty recommendations.

Dr. Jen Gunter, a board certified OB/GYN and expert in vulvovaginal disorders, wrote about the services at Tikkun on her website.

"Steam is probably not good for your vagina. Herbal steam is no better and quite possibly worse," she said.

"Mugwort or wormwood or whatever when steamed, either vaginally or on the vulva, can't possibly balance any reproductive hormones, regulate your menstrual cycle, treat depression, or cure infertility."

Last week Lisa Palmer appeared on ITV show This Morning and told the nation about her homemade vaginal facial recipe.
