October 15, 200718 yr Our project theme is the Government this term and someone said Politics... And of course 'Tell me you're a Politik'... I never thought I would actualy sing it but I sang it out loud and loud enough for the people around me to hear... Coldplay make me laugh...and sometimes, I make me laugh
October 16, 200718 yr ...i actually like homecoming :stunned: this is something that i usually would never admit publically because i have never liked a rap/hip hop song before, but...i like homecoming. of course, chris is the one that makes it brilliant for me, but even if it wasnt chris in the song...i hate to say it, but i think i still would like it as a song. its...catchy. the piano is brilliant. chriss voice is beautiful (as usual). oh man. what is the world coming to now that i like a hip hop song?
October 16, 200718 yr What is the world coming to now that all the boys in my class willingly dance and sing to Mika? It's not a good sight to see twelve or so boys dacing to Mika and sing offtune to him aswell...
October 16, 200718 yr my friend just sent me an email about "homecoming" (she likes kanye) "i really adore chris martin compilations. coldplay bores me sometimes but when he works with other people, its EPIC." HAHA. i agree about his compilations, but coldplay will NEVER bore me :)
October 17, 200718 yr I didn't think the phrase "X&Y" was in a song anywhere until I heard the B-sides
October 22, 200718 yr was in the mall today and i was passing the apple store when i saw the window display. they have these three HUGE fake new ipod nanos in the window, and on the blue nano there's a picture of chris!! i HAD to go in of course. on all the pictures of the new ipod nano in the store, chris is on the screen! he was everywhere i looked! I've noticed that in catalogues here. It always makes me smile when I see it. iTunes/iPods/Apple seems to be supportive of Coldplay.
October 22, 200718 yr HBO is running a new promo that features Kanya West/Chris Martin Homecoming as background music. More Chris featured than Kanya.
October 23, 200718 yr I've noticed that in catalogues here. It always makes me smile when I see it. iTunes/iPods/Apple seems to be supportive of Coldplay. saw it in an ad today myself. TOTALLY cutting it out! the other day "the world turned upside down" came up on my mom's ipod and she said "my god, he's going to give himself a hernia if he keeps singing that high!" i just cracked up.
October 27, 200718 yr Hahahah... My mum doesn't even have an Ipod, which I sorta glad of cus it would be filled with 'The Eagles' The other day I told my friend Bebe that Avril Lavigne did a cover of the Scientist, she loves that song and nearly died:laugh3:and the my friend Morgan started sing the lyrics to 'GirlFriend':\
October 27, 200718 yr My second job is in a Westfields shopping centre and one of the few reasons why I don't mind travelling nearly 2hrs by train to get there is because they play at least one Coldplay song each day over the shopping centre speakers. I still want something closer to home though. I'm dying from train tickets (exaggeration).
October 27, 200718 yr I was in a furniture store one day and they were obviosuly playing X&Y cus THP was on. I was with my brother. He was shoping for something, I forgot what. Anyway, we stayed there until the album finished and then he finally announced he wanted to buy this table. I'm glad my brother and I are Coldplay Fans
October 27, 200718 yr umm...someone kept going on about deodorant in class, and for the next 2 hours ode to deodorant kept replaying in my head:)

October 27, 200718 yr Seems like every month, you hear the "marriage is in trouble" crap. Oh, so Chris and Gwyn aren't in each other hip pockets like Brangelina. A married couple aren't allowed to have separate lives and separate interests? Give me a break! They should stay in the UK, I think - the US isn't a very nice place, what with Bush still in the White House and stuff like spying on American citizens going on.
October 27, 200718 yr "I was in a furniture store one day and they were obviosuly playing X&Y cus THP was on. I was with my brother. He was shoping for something, I forgot what. I'm glad my brother and I are Coldplay Fans" I was in the supermarket the other day and "Speed of Sound" came on. That's my favorite Coldplay song. I was getting some funny looks, singing along with it - the fact that I'll be 55 on Thursday had a lot to do with that, I'm sure.
October 27, 200718 yr every single time i hear in my place it sounds completely new. like the first time i heard it and felt goosebumps run all over. the song just fills me with emotion. it's just a delight!
October 27, 200718 yr ^i think i know what you mean about IMP. it makes me feel like jumping around with happiness. actually, before i even really knew who coldplay were and before i liked music, the IMP riff would play subconsciously in my head whevever i was really happy. once i got into coldplay in spring 05, i was like "OMG, that's coldplay?!" i had a dream two nights ago that on their website, coldplay put up a calendar and they were releasing TWO singles in late february and the album was going to come out on march 1. it was actually quite realistic considering most of my dreams are completely mad, but alas, so far there's no truth to it. i did think that it was actually going to come out then for a few seconds upon waking up, though. oh, and in the dream on the site there was a video clip of them filming their new music video, which involved all four of them jogging down the sidewalk in london wearing clothes circa parachutes/AROBBTH.
October 28, 200718 yr Just one thought. I started my "adventure" with Coldplay by X&Y. So I remember, when I first watched "Fix You" or "Speed Of Sound". I didn't know anything about them. I even didn't know their names, actually  Anyway, I downloaded yesterday a "Fix You" video and just thought, how familiar they are for me now. Well, it's been 2 years from my first meeting with them... It's just a strange feeling, when you think, that you know almost everything about "celebrities". In fact, I don't know anything about them, but I wouldn't be shy to say "hello", if I would meet them on the street.
October 29, 200718 yr "In fact, I don't know anything about them, but I wouldn't be shy to say "hello", if I would meet them on the street." I wouldn't be, well maybe just a little. Look, if Chris or any of the band members wanted to say hi to me (for some odd reason), I would probably say 'hi, hows it going?'. I probably wouldn't recongise them. Well, 10 seconds later I would more than likely say 'Hey, are you from Coldplay?' Or I could freak out and not be able to breathe. I like the first one better.
October 29, 200718 yr ^ i dont know what the hell id do. probably die. but i would try my hardest not to get all girly and teary with excitement, because they probably hate that. i think id just say "thank you for your music" and then snap a million photos. but ive always been paranoid about being an annoying fan.
October 30, 200718 yr I think if I saw them on the street, I'd leave 'em be. But I would beat myself up later for not saying something
October 30, 200718 yr I'd probably try to stay cool  and act like I don't know them or don't care who they are (though inside I feel like I could get a heart attack at any second). :D If they looked like they're in good mood, then I probably would approach them and ask if I could take a picture with them. I don't know. I really don't know. :\ but ive always been paranoid about being an annoying fan. Yeah, me too. :nice:
