I personally would have no problem hearing them sing with Adele somewhere. Or at the very least covering "Someone Like You"-I know Chris said he loves that song, so it'd be neat to hear them cover it. And Lady GaGa could be...an interesting choice. Her wild outfits mixed in with their current day-glo color motif, could lead to something really out there.

 

Katy Perry, on the other hand, I don't see that as a fit, no.

I saw a card in the Co-op the other day that said 'One I Love' and it made me think of the song :D then I saw it was a Mr. Potato Head card which made me lol :lol:

Just weighing in on the Collab thing. I love it when they work with other artists, as a band and as individuals. But for some reason,I don't want to hear it on actual Coldplay studio albums. Double standard, anyone?

I don't know why, I really enjoy when they perform with other bands or artists for a one time thing, and some collabs are great (Homecoming :awesome: ), but I don't really like when a collab is on their album. Maybe it feels like some sort of intrusion into my little Coldplay world or something...:rolleyes:

Exactly!!! It's my dream to get to sing with them someday, but I wouldn't even want THAT on a Coldplay album. I know that's crazy, but Coldplay is 4 and that's what works. :)

It was funny because this weekend i could have sworn i saw chris martin at beverly hills. And then i relized that it probably wasnt true because the guy i saw had a shaved head... i should have checked anyways... You guys im to obsessed!!

No, that's totally understandable. And for the record I was referring to one-off things, live performances and stuff of that sort :). I didn't mean to imply I wanted people popping up on their albums all the time. Every once in a while's cool, but yeah, I want to hear Coldplay on their own albums.

 

Mention of "Homecoming" in here-listening to that now. Love that song.
