I've been catching up with a TV series here in UK called 'ColdFeet' ( of course I want to say Coldplay every time) before the new series starts tonight. Last night I watched the last episode and they played The Scientist in a sad scene. Mmmmm......

  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

Today is the birthday of FIX YOU, released in 2005.

Happy birthday!!!!

As it happens to be:

my first day back at work after 3 weeks vacation is not that great.

It seems there were a lot of issues while I was away and the person who was replacing me has made quite a mess. : (

So I have to spend my day trying to fix it. ;)

Hey everyone! I thought I'd share my Coldplay CD collection. It's not much at the moment, still missing Live 2014, LeftRightLeftRightLeftRight, and Live 2003. Hopefully I'll get those soon though! I plan on getting them as a Christmas gift from Ebay or some other places!

And also happy birthday to Fix You! Honestly one of my favorite songs that makes me emotional every time.:braces:

It's ok if you don't have too much at the moment. :) I hope you can track down the CDs that you want!

I actually didn't bring any of my CDs to university with me, except for spare copies of X&Y, Radiohead's OK Computer, U2's The Joshua Tree, and Muse's Origin Of Symmetry. All of my music is on my computer, my phone, and my old iPod, so I figured I wouldn't really need to bring physical copies.

I still get goosebumps everytime I listen to Clocks

so close! i was on the 22nd row, at the edge of 116 :)

Cool! Too bad i didn't get to meet another coldplaying member in person.

I still get goosebumps everytime I listen to Clocks

Clocks is my favorite! When I first heard it, It was the first time I ever felt goosebumps for a song and I knew that I was in love with coldplay

Happy Birthday Fix You, my favorite Coldplay song ever!

Crying to the Live 2012 version right now

So, this is my 2,000th post on Coldplaying!!!

I would just like to say thank you to all the people here for making this forum as awesome as it is. :) You all are incredibly nice people and I have enjoyed having this place as an outlet for my Coldplay fandom. I was a big fan for a few years before I ever created an account, but it feels especially "worth it" when I've got a place to be a Coldplay nerd with fellow fans. :) I love how supportive this community is and out of all the message boards I have ever been a part of, this is the friendliest.

Here's to 2,000 more posts, and beyond! :D

Awesome, congrats!!! :vuvuzela:

I totally agree and I know your feeling! I think we all have the same feeling, don't we? ;)

It is just so amazing to be here because everyone here is just so kind. If you are in trouble or something like that, there are always CPers that will support you !

It feels like we can read each other's mind, I think. Every time when I come here, I feel so warm and happy to be here, because of everyone

So I had a pretty bad day today and I spent it alone in my room listening to Coldplay.I love how every time I listen to their music I calm down and how Coldplay is always there for me,like a friend offering a shoulder to cry on and then making me feel better.I've never felt this way with any other band or music artist before.I don't think other people would understand if I tried explaining it to them so I am glad I have my Coldplaying family who understands me

As I started feeling better a new lamp that I had bought a few days ago that charges with solar light started working(even though I hadn't put it out in the sun for days)! I have it in my room and it's one of those that keeps changing colours(red, blue, green, yellow, pink),it reminded me of AHFOD. :) I closed the lights and only left that lamp working while listening to Coldplay and it felt like I was in their concert. And then I fell asleep and dreamed of meeting Chris(too bad I didn't see the rest of the band too) so I can definitely say my day got better with Coldplay's help :)

I really hope I get to see them live for real at least once in my life!

Happy Birthday Fix You, a song that I immediately fell in love with upon first hearing it, a song whose lyrics are so universal that it speaks to everyone in distress and whose opening organ chords still make me cry when I hear them, after so, so many listens.

Here is to Fix You and everyone who has been in distress or sad recently or who currently is going through something difficult - let the song take something away from your pain and get you one step closer to getting fixed. :)

I've felt that. They help me with forget the world and its weight to see things in a different perspective.
