what you could do is record yourself lipsyncing the whole song in one session and have that available in an editing software so that you can look through it frame by frame. then as you take each daily picture you just match your expression/mouth position to the individual frames, if that makes sense

that's what Shynola did for the Strawberry Swing video, by the way. they had a CG version that they used to figure out exactly what each frame should look like in terms of Chris's position and whatnot

and your idea sounds really cool. i would love to see it if you do make it :wacky:

Omg thanks! That's a really smart idea.

It would take me a few years to film though and I don't get my prescription from the NHS without seeing a psychiatrist for a year first.

It would be awesome when it's done though, I hope you'll still be around in here whenever I finally finish it.

  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

Omg I've gotta try this when I start hormones. It'll be a really cool way to document my transition.

Only thing is that I can't figure out how he timed miming all the words.

Coldplaying did an interview with this guy not too long ago...I can try to find it. He answered that question in the interview

The following day we had a trip to Oxford. I completely forgot that Oxfam is from Oxford! Seeing Oxfam's shop made me realise that. I walked in and I saw these Stand As One wristbands that (if I'm not mistaken) are given out to volunteers before Coldplay's show. I was so so so happy when I saw these and I had to buy one. Soon I'll also add the picture of the shop. I don't have it now as I took them with my friend's phone.

Better late than never

Boston, Massachusetts, USA

so i wore my MX shirt today, and discovered while doing individual group work in class that my professor is also a Coldplay fan and saw them at Lincoln Financial Field too :cheesy:

Quick random question: which songs do other band members sing on besides Chris? All of them? I sometimes think I see Guy or Johnny singing harmony but don't know. Do they all sing the choruses? I know Will does most backing vocals but wondered about how often they all sing together or how often Guy and / or Johnny sing? Just a general answer or % of time is all that I'm asking; I don't want anyone going through lots of effort to lust every song. Thx!

Im kind of missing the Mylo Xyloto era. I loved all the songs and the shows I went to

Real life has been a blessing and very stressful! I miss checking coldplaying and it's been hard to come and see what all of you have shared. Thankfully, Coldplay is on a break and I won't miss a lot. Have fun everyone!

Hehe well I noticed the airport on the water, and I thought "hey there are only 2 airports like that! Has to be either San Francisco or Boston." I knew it wasn't SFO, so it had to be Boston.

Same. This week I've started my university year and from now on I won't have so much time to visit this web. Anyway, I'll try to come here whenever I can because this place will always feel like home. This summer I passed through some really tough moments in my life, but listening to their wonderful music and coming to Coldplaying were my ways of escape. That's why I wanted to say this: thank you Coldplay and thank you Coldplaying. I'll see you soon :)

It finally happened. Ran into someone wearing a Coldplay shirt at work. It was a Parachutes shirt too! We chatted about the Rose Bowl show.

I haven't realized this until today... I have classes with a Chris, a Will, and a Guy. No Jonny or Phil, though. :P

you have class with someone named Guy but not anyone named Jonny??? :wtf: that seems backwards to me :laugh3:

Actually, there might be a John, Johnny, or Jonny, but I just don't know it yet. ;) Though in the past I have had classes with a Johnny and a Phil. :D

Edit:

I know this isn't Coldplay, but... I have had classes with a Thomas (which could be shortened as Tom or Thom), Colin, and Ed as well. So when you add in the Johnny and Phil, that's basically Radiohead right there. ;)

Unfortunately, I'm not feeling so well the last couple of days. It was slightly getting worse and I couldn't resist against it anymore so I just decided to listen to Coldplay again after a quite long time.

The song I chose is Atlas, I just can't describe how it feels like, they can me help me feel so, so, so much better and seeing the bright sides again just with one song...
