Martin expected for 4th Coldplay album

Featured Replies

New father and COLDPLAY frontman CHRIS MARTIN will be back at the studio to record the band's fourth album by the end of this year (06), according to bandmates. The FIX YOU hitmaker announced plans to take time out at the February (06) Brit Awards, but has reassured bandmates he will be back to work sooner than expected, despite the birth of his second child MOSES earlier this month (APR06). Bassist GUY BERRYMAN says, "We hope to have something together by January. "We're going to make sure with our new album that everyone remembers why Coldplay are one of the best bands in the world."

Nice quote Guy....

wow that seems like a really short recording session, dont you think? if they are going back into the studio in the fall, then to pop out the record in janurary? well i guess they have probably written alot of material. but i think it might be longer, especially since they are touring again in june.

Now, the question remains:

Guy didn't say this at the Jezebell opening, eh? If so, never believe what a drunk man says! LMFAO

Great news, thanks! And I don't really care if it's not in January, if it takes a bit longer, but I'm so happy, it sounds so promising, and I know they'll do their best! Thank you!
