In your country Nick, 90% of the country's wealth is owned by 10% of the population. Do you know why that is? There is an uncontrollable elite that have had, within their own rights, thanks to democracy, to go absolutely nuts and get as greedy as hell to the point where no number is large enough. Democracy promotes our innermost greedy nature. If we had a content elite that is controlled, still quite wealthy but stay in their position because they are doing something for the working classes, then maybe this world would have a chance. I'm neither a capitalist or communist, and I'm also not just content on being anti-everything, but I believe theres an answer somewhere between the two. Having a nation of 250 million people believing they all have a say in how the country is run, is just fucked. Elitism is healthy and natural, its going to develop in any system of government, we may as well try and control it until us humans as a race somehow evolve into being more concerned with the wellbeing of others. We are far from that, at this point. Democracy doesnt control the elite, it leaves the lines of elitist very blurry, to the point where the 'elite' is a mass and uncontrollable group of mainly businessmen, with power much stronger then many elected officials and authorities, in a government and world fuelled purely by money and not common goals.

America's poor have it better then most of the people of this world.....the wealth may not be distributed well but compared to most nations its alot better. but its still alot better then most other nations. as far as the world has known america has had one of the best mixes of goverment compared to most nations. its not perfect but its alot better then most nations. ive said this many times pure capitalism is evil...but when mixed it can be a very good thing for the nation. in america's case its doing a good job it has alot of problems but there will always be lots of problems. Democracy is very messed up but out of most goverments it is one of the best. there will never be a perfect goverment but those are some of the best. socialism and communism only cause trouble. out of most the world's goverments america has one of the best ones, and our people prosper because of that.

And socialism and communism are the same thing (hahahahah) America is a huge nation that is compact as a superpower and should run brilliantly. If it had the same kind of leadership and governing as many other countries (Like China or Sweden) then it would be cemented as the worlds strongest nation, but instead its sliding towards madness. The gap between the classes is getting so wide that the poor will soon be like the impoverished people of the Ukraine or Poland, its only a matter of time.
