How far have you gone to see a Coldplay concert?

Featured Replies

For me the longest distance was from Raleigh, NC to Tampa, Fl = 649 Miles

Went to Brisbane, Australia from New Zealand to see them...

mmm

next feb will be my 1st concert.. but it's here in my city so less than 20 km

Uhm.... 60 miles... haha.

Kingstopn, Ontario to Boston. I'm not sure how many miles that is, but it's almost an 8 hour drive.

We didn't go just to see Coldplay, but they were the highlight of the weekend.:)

I hate my computer...sorry...

Haha, a triple post! That's quite the computer fuck-up. :D

Anyway, I don't really have to travel far to see Coldplay--I wanted to go to one in Las Vegas... which is about 350 miles away...

My parents wouldn't let me go to one that was 45 miles away. :freak: That made me mad. "You already saw them!"

It sucks when you're 15 and you can't just... go... haha.

uh' date=' Tracie...[/quote']

Yeah...I know. It posted 3 times, and I edited the second 2 in the wrong order...anyway, ignore me. :embarassed:

Nah, it's okay.

For the one last year (I can't believe it was 10 months ago...) it was a three-hour drive to Cleveland. Worth everything, and the ride home was something in itself!

I traveled about 375 miles from Macon, GA to Florida to see them in Orlando and Tampa. That Tampa concert is one of the best concerts I've ever been to: outdoors (great sound), amphitheatre, and Fiona Apple opening. It doesn't get much better than that. Well worth the travel.

^ same for me. just under 100km, (sunny coast to brisbane) just roughly over an hour's drive. took the train back from the concert, that was an experience to remember since everyone in the train went to the concert too and we were all talking about our favorite bit and where we were sitting etc lol

a bunch of random people united by coldplay love, kinda like here :P

Ummm.... About a 45min/hour drive from the Western Suburbs of Sydney to more central Sydney to get to the Entertainment Centre.... So not very long

300 km - about 5 hours by train  ;D

well nelly furtado recently came to Mumbai, india for giving a show on the newyear eve..and INXS too...came here...and several other artists came here too....

so hope coldplay also comes on some day..

i think if coldplay comes on anyday i may have a chance to see them...

Saw them in Orlando (15 min drive), Tampa (1 1/2 hr drive), Philly (3 hr flight) :)

Well, how many miles is it from Vienna to London? :P

That's how far I went to see Coldplay...

last july...Taipei to Hong Kong about 900km...take flight.

To Clarkston Michigan..45 minutes, to the Palace of Auburn Hills, a half an hour.

First, I paid 200 dollars a ticket (That's equal to 400) on a chartiy auction for fifth row seats, and then drove from Atlanta to Orlando (About a 10 hour drive).

London 50 min flight...Isle of Wight, ummm hour flight then boat! lol

More appropriate to ask how much MONEY have you spent on Coldplay?!

2 tickets to see Coldplay @ Earls court - £175 (fucking EBAY!)

flight to london - £100 (missed the flight back and had to pay double! DOH! lol)

hotel - £200 (booked into a SHIT hotel, gave them £60 and ended up just leaving and going to a travel inn because it was sooooo bad!)

food & drink - £100

But....seeing Coldplay live.....PRICELESS

haha

I drove nearly 300 km to Oberhausen, just only to see Coldplay. But it only took 2 1/2 hours thanks to the "Autobahn" lol! :D

Hehe, to answer the question above...

I paid 80 euro for the ticket (concert was already sold-out but I got it from a page which is primarily specialised in sold-out tickets), 20 euro for a shirt and 10 euro for 2 posters. ;)

By the way: Am I the only one who cannot post a comment with a "euro-symbol" in it?! It's impossible for me...
