childoftheunderworld Posted May 17, 2008 Share Posted May 17, 2008 Violet Hill --> main colour: violet (obviously), secondary colours: white and red (because of the snow and blood, from the implied war) Viva La Vida --> main colour: red (because it's such a revolutionary colour and this song tells me about a revolution), secondary colours: white and cornflower blue (the French flag should be the symbol of revolutionism) A Spell, A Rebel Yell --> main colour: laser green (for some reason I just see green laser beams when I hear this song), secondary colour: black (the background behind the laser beams) Lost? --> main colour: slate blue (like an ocean on a cloudy day) Life In Technicolour --> main colour: sunshine yellow (because it's such an uplifting joyous song, although it's really a kaleidoscope of colours because of this). Vitamin Z Posted June 5, 2008 Share Posted June 5, 2008 Life in Technicolor = Very pale rainbow colours Cemetries of London = Different shades of grey/black Lost! = Brown 42 = Starting with a dark dirty shade of red, then bursting into a neon blue :) LiJ = Yellow RoL = Yellow too, but more paler and washed out Yes! = Dark brown Viva la Vida = No one colour here...I picture like a flag, maybe the French flag colours Violet Hill = Grey/Violent Strawberry Swing = Pink Death and all His Friends = Dark blue The Escapist = Almost white...maybe a VERY washed out rainbow...
