ColdplayJoe
http://www.livenation.com/event/getEvent/eventId/327414/ I hope we get an explanation tomorrow. I'm still most likely going to be able to attend, but for others (Barb, Pam, etc.) they might not be able to make it! UGH!
airieslady
Well, I haven't tried to change my flights yet, cause I don't know if this new date is permanent or what! I am going to lose money anyway around it! So will wait this one out a few more days! Cause it just seems strange that this band would travel all the way across the country for this date! And it won't be the first show anymore...which sort of messes up this sign campaign! I don't know if I can get time off from work either! WTF! :(

ccsg
Is this confirmed yet? Is this unprecedented? An entire tour schedule changing within weeks of it starting? There is something really weird about this.

ColdplayJoe
Hello, The Coldplay concert was rescheduled from June 29 to July 25. The tickets for the original date will be honored at the rescheduled date. There will not be duplicate tickets sold for seats. If you are unable to attend the newly rescheduled date, then you can call 1877-263-9372. Thank you and have a great day! Kind regards, Tyrone Customer Service ________________________________________ From: Joseph Fleury Sent: Wednesday, June 04, 2008 10:57 PM To: Customer Service Subject: Coldplay Concert Date Changed To whom it may concern, I have recently stumbled upon information stating that the Coldplay concert scheduled for June 29 has been changed to July 25. I was wondering both why the date was changed and what should ticket holders do with their tickets? Will tickets with the date June 29 still be honored at the July 25th concert? Could duplicate seats be sold, thus allowing for two separate tickets to be available for one seat? Thanks in advance, Joseph A. Fleury

Is there any way you can help me with a question I need answered? Is the LiveNation website the most accurate place for concert dates and locations? The concert for Philadelphia has been changed on LiveNation from June 29 to July 25. I was flying in from NC for that concert, so I really need to know accurate information. Also, it looks like LiveNation has some other changes from the tour dates listed on Coldplay.com. For example, there is no longer an Orlando, FL concert listed in November. Help!! And, thanks for anything you can tell me. Best to look at cp.com but ...... I'd advise to hang fire til later today/tomorrow _________________ All thoughts, ideas, beliefs & opinions expressed on this forum are my own. Could this possibly be good/bad news to hang fire for? norsehorse23
I thought the whole Live Nation ticket distribution thing wasn't going to be used until next year, but oh well. If you go on the comcasttix page, it says the concert's been postponed. It's annoying, but it seems someone isn't very good at planning tours... they are flying from vegas, to philly, back to british columbia in the span of four days. Doesn't that drive up costs and dumb? I also know the philly show wasn't sold out yet when I checked for tickets again a few days ago (that's two weeks after they went on sale). I am still going to the rescheduled date. Also, I am curious why they don't play MSG on another date... Pearl Jam is playing there the two days after the free show, but how about in the fall? Yeah, Bryce Jordan Center is convenient for those who go to PSU!
CookyMnstr
what the hell is going on??? I click on all the links you guys have put up, but not coldplay.com nor live nation show anything about changing dates?!!? the only site that mentions it is the wachovia center page. so wtf? which do i trust?!!? This is such a pain! Now I have to pray I can manage to get off work that night, and it's not easy especially a Friday!! And also, now we have to wait an extra month to see them!!!! WTF. Those balls Chris was talking about better be MAGICAL!!!!:furious:
bta5857
Not to give anyone a migraine or anything, but just check out LiveNation and Coldplay.com for yourself. Philly is back to being listed as a June 29th concert at the Wachovia Center.........
airieslady
Hello... is there anyone out there? That has communicating powers to the Coldplay Tour management that can give some definite answer on this date? There are alot of people with travel arrangements that are "up in the air"(no pun on words), but yes, anyone with some answers would be appreciated! Debs? If you come on this board or anyone with a connection? Come on Coldplay management! Does anyone not have their head up their ass! Answer please! airieslady
I did the same thing... then I quickly went into my work website to please beg them not to cancel the 29 and 30 and so I don't know if they will read it tomorrow after they cancel my original vac days... noooo! I hope I still have my June days! They probably think I am cracking up or crazy! This is embarrassing for me, as I am always organised person. Well, I definitely still have the flight/hotel/car package b/c that is not changeable, I lose money if I don't use it on the June date. I'm so confused at this moment!
