^Didn't Chris said the album title would only be 2 words long?

Yes,maybe they modified it.

It could be the song that is a song and the album title

Like viva,etc

It seems they are polishing songs (12 according to NME) and more or less on the finish line. But how more and less, we are clueless. :)

I still have hope that it will be out by June. Just because they are in the studio working on the three or four songs mentioned in this post doesn't necessarily mean that they don’t have another seven or eight songs finished already. Previous reports have implied that they were at least close. These may have been from another set of songs that have since been abandoned. It wouldn’t be the first time that the band has done this. It’s impossible to know but I find it hard to believe that after all this time they are still at the point in the recording process where they are just “tinkering” around with song ideas.

^ let's hope that is true

I agree. Christmas Lights, for example, was finished product way before NY.

Marcus is tuning songs. So they has songs, nearly finished. In the end R42 said everybody are high, and that could mean they are close to the beginning of new campaign and eagerly awaiting it.

And actually MTM could be the title. It would create continuity with single word title for odd numbered albums.

Tim Wheeler

 BUT....it's not sounding as if they are near done yet.

*cries*

I knoww, I was hoping to hear "Choosing the main batch of songs, and the running order they'll go on the album takes longer than you think" This really makes it sound like they haven't made much progress in the last month and a half :( Still they are booking all sorts of Festival headlines so they can't be thaat far.

Also with bands this big, mixing and mastering probably doesn't take so long, the pro's know how to do an amazing job at amazing speed.

This is exiting though, just earlier I posted we needed a new blog soon. :D

MTM = Mining the Moon !?!

if i remember correctly there was, at one time, a song rumored to be called Mining On the Moon.

Just a thought...

^ True.

I'm still sticking with "Moment to Moment".

Although now that I think about it more, "Mining the Moon" would be kind of cool. Like digging up things/thoughts/feelings in unfamiliar territory.

But its already been written from Viva era

i dont think they will put something on the album

that was written before

Chris & co reuse titles and bits and pieces from other (unused) songs all the time so I wouldn't be surprised at all if it ends up on the album!

I stronly dislike the title Moment to Moment.

Mining the Moon would be a bit better, but still not great.

A Rush of Blood the Head is obviously their best album title, and we need another epic one like that.

Roadies #42 must know that he's torturing us by just casually throwing out that MTM. :dizzy2:

How very . . . evil . . . of him.

EDIT: Actually, Mining The Moon could make sense! It could (as NumbersGirl said) mean that they are digging up old memories and such, which goes with what Chris said about this album telling a story of sorts. MTM could be the last song (or the first) in which he is recalling everything he sang about in the other songs. . . . *squeals*

*bounces off walls*

We always have doubts about song titles but wait until we actually hear the songs

it will make a massive difference

 weeeeee finally new blog!

This blog makes me feel equal parts of :anxious: and :awesome:

:bomb:

What do they mean with this:" It's a huge release - almost as though in the days being in a heightened state, everyone had forgotten to exhale. "

And: "Judging by what they got done, 2011 is shaping up rather well…"??

Can you help me, please! :)
