I have the same problems with certain Englisch words that I want to use in German but that don't really translate well :dozey: My dictionary says Schadenfreude translates to malicious joy:inquisitive:

So yes, pretty much.

That's the exact meaning of it! :D In Germany there's a saying that goes like this: "Schadenfreude ist die schönste Freude" and it means "Schadenfreude is the biggest joy" so mean! :lol:

March 13, 201214 yr My parents just came back from their trip :wacky: (I'm usually happy for a day when they leave, because I feel free & independent and all, but, like, for a day or so. Then I just get lonely at night and I have to deal with my grandma. She's nice but...anyway, it's complicated with her :|)
