Lore
A Rush of Blood to the Head'. Mimixxx
Taken from a report of the England match: When was the last time Beckham was a substitute? Not that long ago, at Real Madrid — under Capello. Switching the match from Andorra to Barcelona did little for the attendance, with barely a quorum present. There were long queues outside before the kick-off — but they were for Coldplay, who were in concert next door. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/international/article4692946.ece :P

Lore
(just remember that I'm not good traslating stuff :uhoh: and also deleted some not so important parts ) Barcelona. (EFE).- it's been 3 years since the last time that coldplay visited Barcelona, except for the past may 17th exclusive show at Espacio Movistar, and this has been noticed in the show that the rock band did today in front of their fans, which responded in a great way After their shows in Germany and France where they were presenting their lastest album, 'Viva la Vida and Death or All His Friends', the british quartet, with Albert Hammond Jr. as opening act, made a great show which in 2 hours filled the expectations of their fervert fans. In a Palau Sant Jordi as in its best nights, the singer of the band, Chris Martin, went to the stage more than 10 minutes later but looking forward to show that the U2's ghost has been dissapeared, and that the voices which said that coldplay would be a short time success band, are waning. The frontman appeared behind some black ¿¿ fabrics?? which were covering the stage and with the typical jacket of this tour, and the sound of Coldplay covered the Palau Sant Jordi, joined almost in synchrony with the fans' voices. The british rock band started the show with the classical start in this tour, with the instrumental 'Live in Technicolor'. Later, it came the first important moment of the night, with "violet hill", one of the most popular songs of the band's 4th record, "Viva la vida or death and all his friends", which title was inspired in a Frida Kahlo's painting. After that song, Chris Martin said hi in catalán, with a perfect "Bona nit" (good evening). Then the band played one of their most successful songs, "Clocks" of their 2nd album, A rush of blood to the head". from this album, they also performed 'God Put a Smile on Your Face', far from the stage in a side of the venue. During the show, the band played eight of the 10 songs of Viva la vida, a record which the band wanted to have a lenght og 45 minutes. The big "Viva la vida", 'Chinese Sleep Chant', '42', 'Lost', the acoustic 'Strawberry Swing', have been some of the songs of the last record performed at the show... and which the fans sang as these would be coldplay's classic songs In a concert of this importance, couldn't be absent some of the coldplay's milestones, as Yellow, Fix You or Speed of Sound... songs that the coldplay fans sang until they almost lost their voices En un concierto de estas magnitudes no podían faltar canciones que ya se han convertido en hitos de la banda de Martin, como 'Yellow', 'Fix You' o 'Speed of Sound', tres temas que los seguidores de Coldplay han deletreado hasta quedar sin voz. After the show, Coldplay will perform tomorrow at the Palacio de deportes in Madrid, with sold out tickets, to finish their spanish visit, promoting the album that they released 3 months ago.
