where the message times exactly the same for the winners?

where the message times exactly the same for the winners?

The key question!

as time slowly ticks away the odds start to decrease of winning a ticket

Ahhh, I think all winners would have been notified by now :\

Sandi got her email at 12:27 today.

Laura could you confirm the time of your one please?

:bigcry:

Never mind - think about your football team!!

and you live in italy?

surely it would make more sense for people who live near london to win tickets?

Is this person seriously going to fly all the way over from Italy, at this late notice, for a Coldplay concert only likely to last an hour??

I think not...

As I said before, Brixton will only be 3/4 full...

Never mind - think about your football team!!

lol, that's true ! they totally rock, I'm their official supporter since my team sucks as never before ;(

No tickets for me too, guess I'll see them in Praga this September ;P

My little gmail envelope just opened and I got really excited and it was Thorntons :( Damn them.

Well done Laura! :D

Btw, wouldn't it be terrible if you think you didn't get an e-mail and find out on the 17th it was in your spambox all along? :P

I take it all these people who have applied on this thread with country tags like Poland, Netherland, Australia will be able to get to this gig if they won right?

Glad they're doing the whole 48 hour thing to confirm.

Also hoping that people aren't going to just accept the tickets anyway without actually knowing if they can make it or not :(

If it had been announced earlier I would have flown over, if on the off chance I get a late email and win I will ring up and surrender my tickets. ;)

I totally agree. I didn't actually confirm my purchase of the free tickets until i worked out how i was going to get from Bury St Edmunds to London, booking a hotel room in the Oval, which I've since done and confirming the person who is coming with me can actually go! So, it took me about an hour after recieving the email to purchase tickets. Don't rush into it. Maybe plan ahead just in case, but there is a lot to consider. i do have to question whether those living abroad can actually make it. if not, then i'm sure those tickets will be released. which leads me to think the following:

- All the ticket winners will be notified today

- Winner have 48 hrs to confirm.

- Tickets that have not been confirmed will be released on Thur and then those winners will probably have 24hrs to confirm.

Do you think this is the likely scenario folks?

:D

I've already checked my spambox for that very reason.:smug:

I feel disheartened......I know it was a competition but Brixton Academy..... *sigh* would have been the most amazing place to see them.

Last year, when there was a Bloc Party competition for tickets.... they secretly went on the Bloc Party forum and found the e-mail addresses of all those who wrote a lot on the message board and had entered the competition. Meaning that a lot of the biggest fans got tickets (not saying that all the biggest fans write on these message boards, but a large majority)

I know Coldplay is a vastly bigger band than Bloc Party, but still.....I think the whole idea of fan clubs and presales and giving the fans just a bit of priority could go a long way.

Yup. Totally agree.

Grr

You can't change the name on the tickets, so whoever bids for them won't be able to get in if the staff are looking at ID on the night.
