🌙 COLDPLAY ANNOUNCE MOON MUSIC OUT OCTOBER 4TH 🎵

The Official Club Football 2014-2015 thread

You being you probably knows the right answer, but we (outsiders) don't. Reilly made a good point, and unless you manage to show WITH ARGUMENTS that he's wrong, we'll think he's right. If you don't care about that, fine.

Good, because I will not be able to respect the opinion of anyone that jumps to erroneous conclusions like that.

I know you're wrong, seeing as I'm the one who would know if I was ashamed of my team or not. Big difference.:dozey:

Ever heard about 'lie'? It's defined as a false statemente that is expressed by the liar as true! Amazing, innit?

You obviously know the right answer, but we don't. Don't want to convince us of anything? Fine! Just say so and end this pointless discussion.

Well you do now, because I told you, and you didn't even need to ask the audience, take 50-50, or phone a friend.

Anyway, just to reiterate, I am not "ashamed" of my team in any shape or form.

I hope they manage to get promoted this season, but I won't be holding my breath.

If they don't get promoted, it won't be the end of the world, as football is only a game at the end of the day.

I see no point in mentioning their results, as they are ultimately meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

Such is life!

I know what you're SAYING, there's no way to know what you're saying is the truth. Perhaps you're ashamed of you team and you're ashamed that you're ashamed of it, we'll never know. The only way to convince a person that you're right (or saying the truth, in this case) is using good arguments. But if you don't want to convince anyone just say the word and this discussion (which has shown to be pointless to date) ends.

Can I talk about Manchester City now?? I am very proud to be a fan on them Mark !! Always have been even when we was in the 3rd tier it was even better then !! We signed Terry Cooke from Manchester United, and also had Mark Robbins.

We could be top if our game goes ahead tomorrow night, and we win. With yesterdays games having to played another day, perfect.

...

On Tévez

Speaking to a Madrid fan fan last night, they would love him but dont have any money until the end of the season.

Barcelona fans say they dont need him.

Espanyol 1 Barcelona 5

Gutted for a friend who is mental for Espanyol, barca fans are a disgrace they did not even cheer for the last 2 goals as they already expected it, dispresect to fans of Espanyol.. fucking disgraceful, and mocking fans of Espanyol for their tribute to Andres Inistea...

Sir Alex Ferguson rejects Tevez return

Manchester United have been approached by Manchester City over a possible buy-back of Carlos Tevez.

The Argentinean crossed the Manchester divide in 2009 after spending two years at Old Trafford. It has since been a roller coaster ride at Eastlands for the striker who recently declared he wants out of the club citing unhappiness with the club.

A number of top clubs have been linked with the 26-year-old such as Real Madrid and Chelsea. Now according to the Daily Mail, a party close to Tevez have seek United's interest of taking him back.

However, Sir Alex Ferguson and the club have firmly rejected such a possibility despite a need for an extra striker at Old Trafford. Meanwhile, Tevez is set to return against Everton on Sunday where City have the chance to go top of the table after games involving United, Arsenal and Chelsea all called off due to snow.

Manager Roberto Mancini has insisted he has no problem in naming his top-scorer in the starting line-up but could strip him off the captaincy after his outburst.

And according to a City insider, it's is business as usual at the club who expect Tevez to play a big part in its title assault - at least for now. He was quoted as saying in the Daily Mail: "Carlos has been back training with his usual enthusiasm. He will not only return to the side against Everton on Monday, but he is determined to play a part in the team's push for as high a Premier League finish as they can achieve. The club have demonstrated where they stand. Carlos is going nowhere. Now all we want is to concentrate on winning as many matches as we can between now and the end of the season."

Meanwhile, the match at Eastlands on Monday could join the rest of the fixtures being postponed should weather conditions be deemed unfavourable.

Which as I have pointed out on numerous occasions in the past, is an extremely patronising thing to say, and an erroneous assumption.

There is no compulsion for anyone to qualify every comment they make. Most comments should be taken with the proverbial pinch of salt, but I suspect the vast majority of people know that anyway.;)

You just simply ignore any posts that you lack the ability or knowledge to answer.

No people don't have to qualify every comment they make but justifying at least one with reasoned logic would be a start, I await the day you're able to do so.

Wrong. That's both patronising and totally erroneous. If I ignore posts, it's usually because I suspect those responsible for them are being facetious or trying to stir up trouble. :dozey:

My instincts are usually very reliable.:smug:

If I and so many other people are 'wrong' then why not prove them so?, because you won't?, or because you don't have the ability.

Plus overuse of the word 'erroneous' much?, you more often than not make a comment and then when it is countered with a different opinion or in the case of the Christmas Lights thread, obvious fact, you simply claim that the other people are wrong and you're right, you appear to not be able to have a reasoned debate, I would have expected a bit of a more mature attitude and a bit more intelect displayed from someone your age.

Incorrect. I know you're wrong, seeing as I'm the one who would know if I was ashamed of my team or not. Big difference.:dozey:

Hey Mark, ARE YOU BROKEN?! We already covered this more then once, basically, saying I'm wrong without giving a reason for it is absolutely useless in a debate, and if you have nothing to say that will progress this discussion, then shut the fuck up.

Why did you even bother replying? There was nothing to add there whatsoever.

You can say I'm wrong but what does that mean? Absolutely nothing. I could just as easily say that you are 'wrong' but some people like to back up a statement with some form of reasoning, I know you hate reasoning and logic but luckily that's not how everyone works.

If you are happy having convinced nobody that you aren't ashamed of supporting Charlton, then carry on like that in your own mind and don't bother responding telling me for the 5th or 6th time that I'm simply "wrong" and it's an erroneous assumption with no reason given for it.

In terms of your response' date=' you haven't proved why they are erroneous assumptions. Like I said, my assumptions are neither correct or incorrect, but they are definitely not erroneous unless proven otherwise, and you have failed to do that, so until you do that they are not erroneous.[/quote']

Basically, because you don't seem to be able to compute, THIS is what I was looking a response to which as always you conveniently missed:

BUT WHY WOULD YOU CHOOSE TO AVOID THE QUESTION OF WHAT TEAM YOU SUPPORT UNLESS YOU ARE ASHAMED OF SUPPORTING THEM

You have the right to not answer the question- nobody ever denied you that right (Because it was a fucking bollocks thing to say in the first place) but you chose not to, and my point is that you chose not to because you are ashamed of your club.

Like I've already said, you may pay money to see them, you may officially support them, but you are still ashamed to tell other people that you do, and that's why you are ashamed. Saying "You're wrong" for the fucking 20th time doesn't get us anywhere, you still refuse to answer my initial question and you clearly can't.

In this thread alone Stratocaster has brought up 2 issues that you fail to address and Navegador has brought up another one, and you ignore all of us because you can't deal with it.

If you feel that "you dont have to deal with it " then don't bother wasting anyones time by responding, as well as responding with "You're wrong" or that I'm making "erroneous assumptions" because you've already said that, so do everyone a favour and shut up.

The only reason we've gone around in circles is because I (Or anyone else) can't get a straight answer out of you, you will always try to twist it to some other argument that was never relevant to the issue. Like I pointed out, Navegador made a fairly lengthy post (Infinite by your standards) and you chose to ignore 90% of what she was saying (The important part that made you look like a jackass) and focus on the last sentence because that's all you can deal with, you sad little man.

Just clearing up, I'm not a she

But other than that you're completely right.

No, simply because there's nothing to prove. Implying that you know someone's mind better than they do is quite frankly, ridiculous. If you can't see that, then any further discussion is totally futile.:dozey:

Overuse of the same ridiculous points time and time again, much?

No doubt whatever was said in the other thread has been taken way too seriously by yourself. Other than that, I don't give a monkey's what you think, as I cannot respect anyone who keeps coming out with such ludicrous comments.

No U. I've already covered the rest of it in the reply above, which pretty much applies to you too.

As I said, anyone who implies or assumes they know someone's mind better than the person themselves is beyond comprehension. Therefore any further discussion is pointless, and I think it's time this thread got back on topic.:smug:

1. Yes there is something to prove, that you are actually capable of engaging in reasoned debate and backing up your opinions with an actual logical thought process.

2.Stating that Jonny Buckland isn't a particularly good Guitarist, isn't a ludicrous comment it's an obvious fact just like Justin Biber can sing in Key which you also seem to deny for some unknown reason.I'm not taking anything too seriously but your tendancy to ignore and dismiss alot of other peoples opinions even when they are well formed and reasoned is highly irritating.

It's impossible to have a "reasoned" debate with anyone who thinks they can read someone's mind.:dozey:

I don't care what you think of Jonny. You might upset some people on here, but not me. You clearly don't get why Coldplay are such an amazing band, so there's no point in discussing it further.

The less said about Bieber the better, and any discussion about him belongs in the other thread, anyway.:dozey:
