The lucky git that is Steven Gerrard somehow had tickets!

Typical. I hope he paid a substantial amount to Crisis for the privilege.:dozey:

FT: Man City 1 Everton 2!

City had quite an amount of chances to get a 2nd/should've deserved a penalty, but they've been so lucky in several matches this year so it's the start of evening things out at least. Nice to see Kolo Toure waste the last minutes of stoppage time by getting himself booked twice, and then spending an entire minute to leave the pitch.

City players= douchebaegs.

Early Christmas present from Man City to their lovely friends across the city - Man United stay top, and you know what happens to most teams who are top at Christmas.............

Haha what a misleading link. Well Rafa seems pretty confident.

I really don't know what to make of it, on one hand I would kind of like to see him sacked as I've said before but I'm not that confident a replacement will be able to turn our fortunes around this Season, and we did see a bit of a return to form in the Club World Cup,Sneijder getting injured on top of all the other injuries wasn't good though.

Also if we do have to look to next year my only hope is we manage to somehow gain enough ground to keep a CL spot and either Juve,Lazio or Roma beat Milan to the title, the only other encouraging thing is we are 2 games in hand at the moment.

I hope that only applies to the EPL.

Ultimately, City once again failed to win a match they were expected to.:dozey:

we was unlucky..

we was unlucky..

And in many other matches you were lucky. Being lucky/unlucky is part of the game. If you want to win this trophy you must play well enough so luck can't mess with you.

Yes youre right !

:cheesy:, Man U fans all over would like to thank Everton for the other day, that was pretty damn awesome.

Due to the cancellation of the game this weekend, the two Chelsea vs ManU games might just be 10 days apart, both in May. :/

I wouldn't mind having him back at Liverpool, he'd probably do a better job than Roy Hodgson.

Possibly but after last season I wouldn't bet on much. In part we wouldn't be in a mess if Rafa hadn't thought that the likes of Glen Johnson, David N'Gog, Phil Degan, Milan Jovanovic, Aquilani, Kyriagkos etc were better than the likes of his sales such as Arbeloa, Cisse, Alonso, Kewell and Hyypia (yes he left but only because he was given a putrid contract when he still had more to offer as he showed at Leverkusen last year).

He did many great things at Liverpool but to have him back so soon after he left, some say deservedly...no thanks.

The thing is if Inter let Rafa go though, who would replace him?.

Spaletti is going to stay with Zenit I'm sure of it.

Capello?,would he work at Inter?, how would he get out of the England job?.

Leonardo is another rumour.

that cant be good. we have a bad record at the end of seasons, we dont need things to be complicated by having to play the defending champions twice in the final month.

The cancellation of the Chelsea v Man Utd game probably came at the best time for Chelsea in all honesty.

I don't expect it to be in May. I wouldn't be surprised at a reschedule in either January or February.
