a_face_of_light
Well the other Inter could've been 3-0 up before Mazembe scored, and actually probably could have scored another 3 after Mazembe scored. They spurred so many easy chances it was unbelievable. Mazembe scored 2 beautiful goals (Although the defending was weak) but they didn't create many real chances, some good long range shots and uneasy goalkeeping for Inter, to be fair it was a bit of a miracle that the African team won it. So if Inter don't win this competition, WTF. We should win it, it would be nice to win something this year after all:laugh3:. Milito back from injury just in time:D. Bonus_mosher
The Tevez story is interesting to say the least. The way I see it, City have two options. 1) They sell him to the highest bidder with no room for negotiating, because... 2) If they don't, he can buy out his contract, it'll be no skin off his nose to fork out a few million and I don't believe any of this nonsense about him 'quitting altogether'. See the problem is if he is THAT DETERMINED to go, and say, Madrid make an offer of £20m and City are like 'Well, we want £40m' or however much they want, Madrid have the legroom to say 'No way' then when nobody comes in with a higher bid, Tevez will resort to the latter option. I'm glad that City have got themselves into this mess, I don't dislike them as a club but I despise what they're trying to do to achieve the league title. EDIT: does anybody else love that my post count is 4,321?* *Well, it was when I posted this... no soup for you! :P

bart
Only 20 million? He is on 286 K a week... he is gonna want at least 200 K of that. He is a tremendous player, and is worth that much. I dont think he will leave after all, and tomorrow he will sign a years extention to his contract, with the club offering to buy his family a house in Spain I guess. This will happen. The Tevez story is interesting to say the least. I agree we have not been very ethical in the Market place, however Tevez is much more important to us, than any normal player- He used to play for UTD, and understand how important us finishing above the local swamp is to us. Still in saying that, I think we had something like this coming to us He will stay City will buy another Stella player in the Jan xfeer window, however I dont know who
Bonus_mosher
I agree. Tevez is a top player, but you can replace him easily (though you don't need to with Adebayor and Balotelli)
bart
I agree. Tevez is a top player, but you can replace him easily (though you don't need to with Adebayor and Balotelli) I would prefer if we did this at the end of the season, so we can re evulate the situation, and maybee then, when he may be a captain of a premiership winning team with one more chance to get some more superstars to play with he might want to stay after wall. His work ethic is second to none as soon as he puts on his shirt.
