So...as a Bremen supporter, I feel like I've experienced the worst case of consistent injury problems imaginable. I know no one here really cares about the team, I'm posting if only to see if anyone has stories of worse scenarios to share.

 

First half of the bundesliga season, Werder were moved around the top 4 with a perfectly healthy top 11. Tomorrow, against Augsburg the Bremen squad will lack:

Both top strikers: 1 suspended, 1 injured

Our top attacking midfielder Marin AND his substitute Ekici: injury and stomach problems

Left winger: Injury (Hunt hasn't played since December)

Defensive Mid: Injury

Both centerbacks: Traded ( the week that his replacement gets kicked in the face) and Injured (Right back moves to center to compensate)

Goalie: You guessed it. Wiese injured from a collision in practice.

Damn right! That's why i was so desparate to cling onto the possibility of us qualifying for the CL this season but it was always totally unrealistic.

What do you think the sortof possibilities that could lead to Kenny's sacking? Like, is winning the Carling Cup enough nomatter what happens now? I think the FA Cup Semi Final could be huge, if they go out, and their league form hasn't improved or gotten worse, it's never a surprise to see a manager go at a time like that.
