Hmmm, it seems like most people got the gatefold version of the Cd. I got the jewel case.

Any particular reason for buying that version, people?

The gatefold was all they had at Circuit City - didn't see any in jewel cases:\

I'm not really a fan of jewel cases. That being said there were only Gatefold available anywhere near me.

I got the gatefold because, even though the jewel case looked a bit classier to me, I don't have many gategold CD's.

I saw a gatefold version at the mall, but it was $4 more and I am on a tight budget. hahaha.

And I thought that I might as well stick to the pattern, all of my Coldplay Cds are nice and snug in their jewel cases. I was just wondering why so many had the gatefold version, it looks pretty cool.

i got mine today!! i had to drive 20-30 miles from the very tip of long island to the end of the middle to find any sort of store that would sell it, but i have it! :dance:

 

no picture of me with it until next week, because i'm sunburned and grotty and my hair's not in its tame state (what's the point of straightening it when you're at the beach?), but i'll have one up next week fo' sho'.

Great pics everyone. Thought I'd share mine along with a story. I got a bogus traffic ticket back in April and decided to contest it. The hearing for this ticket was of course - on June 17 - release day here in the US. So on Tuesday I went when the stores opened and bought VLVODAAHF and felt after buying it that I had some kind of special Coldplay luck with me. On Tuesday afternoon I went to the hearing and when the officer who wrote the ticket didn't show up they dismissed the ticket. It's like it never happened. I got in my car and blared my new Coldplay cd and just knew that the power of Coldplay had helped me out! So, without further ado, here I am with the new cd and my court papers saying my ticket was dismissed!:D
