i'm sorry, but this is just so ridiculous. if you don't want to hear all those songs, fine, just stay at home and save your money. you can make a mixtape and leave out all the songs you dislike.

no offence, but this is really... pfft.

some people are saying they don't like the new songs because they're so "mainstream", some say they are tired of hearing the old songs... why can't you just be happy with the way it is now? there's gonna be a tour again, there is a new album...

whatever happens, this place will never be entirely happy  i don't get it.

I'm fine with everything since I've been lucky enough to see them playing some of the songs you're mentioning, like Shiver and Warning Sign...but my mission will be Crests of Waves and I already started it and sure Chris and Guy saw my sign, it's gonna be a "Crests of Waves Wanted Live - Tour" :P

Seriously I can understand people who have never seen them live are also waiting for Yellow, Fix You and alikes..plus the band loves these songs

Denise...I will join you in wanting to hear Crests of Waves!!!!!!!!! One of my favourites

Yay Kara, let's unite, I'm gonna make a big sign and bring it with me to all the concerts I'm going, by now two for sure..it's in my top three CP songs and and even though it's a mission impossible it's still worth trying :D

I somewhat agree with fix you, but yellow and trouble I would always enjoy live if they played it at a concert I attended. I was actually a little disappointed with how they played trouble during the talk tour. When they played it at Brixton it was the best it's sounded in years.

After the last tour which they played the same songs each setlist every night the whole tour, it would be nice if they would just play a couple different songs each show. I hate to mention this, but RH played about 4 or 5 different songs each show, so I went to 2 shows back to back and it was interesting to see what they would play different. They practiced something like 70 songs before touring. I love CP, but they can actually play a couple different songs every show...just make a spot in setlist for their choice. It's not that difficult to do and would make a more interesting setlist. :)

Yes, that would be amazing to hear AROBTTH ... they should just play something different each show in a couple spots. It would just blow everyone's mind! But I have a feeling what they are playing now is pretty much what they will play on tour. I hope they get the message of what the fans would like... well, yeah, that's gonna happen!

I know! I think they do though, read these things. well, i think i heard that they do in an article though i'm probably wrong. yes! AROBTTH is sooooooooooOOOO00000 good in the Live 2003. I work out with it, I clean with it, I do everything that's hard to do with it so it can get me through. It gives me goose bumps all the time. It's so hard and so good. *sigh*.

Clocks and Yellow should never be dropped -- those are classics! And if Coldplay won't play them live, who will?

Fix You on the other hand is totally unnecessary for this tour, considering they're promoting VLV not X&Y. Honestly it's not their best song, nor very good live. Chris can't ever seem to sing it remotely as good as the album version.

I can live without Fix you and Yellow.

when I say this, I mean I am not really a fan of these 2 songs. I have to add, I haven't seen coldplay live before, but I guess I don't know what I'm missing when they do perform them live right? I am putting the 'seeing them live' thing right, or I will do come the end of the year, I'm going to both the manchester shows in december.

Warning Sign would be better than Fix You live.

Every person in the arena singing, "When the truth is, I miss you..."

*shivers*

Warning Sign is indeed incredible live:

Chris said on The Hour show that they're going to start playing it again - fingers crossed!

I don't know about you guys but I'm tired of hearing Fix You, Yellow, Trouble, Clocks...et cetera. I just am tired of them...not because they are overplayed...ok maybe its because they're overplayed. But mainly they just seem so dead to me. I watched the Brixton (is that right?) performance the other night of Fix You and it looked so...dead. Like they don't have any soul into it. Thats the way it feels to me.

I just want the new stuff no more old stuff.

yea I'm calling management right now to tell them that you don't wanna hear those songs live so they ABSOLUTELY have to stop playing them ...

and so what if they're promoting VLV? it would be completely ridiculous if they only played songs off that one album ...bottom line is there are more people who enjoy the hits then people who don't ..and if you can't live with that then.. DON'T GO SEE THEM LIVE
