June 28, 201015 yr And Here I sit on a daily basis wondering why my important question about "what kind of toothpaste they use" never gets answered.:P :cheesy: She must answer that! I like how, now on the main page, it reads "Oracle: Where did the yellow balls disappear?"
June 29, 201015 yr Netherlands[/color][/b] Q. Dear Oracle, How do the guys and you feel after the game against Germany and did Markus Dravs survive watching it with all these English people around him? The Oracle replies: It turns out that Markus is quite torn between his homeland of Germany and the home he has made here in England but I guess that result couldn't be too bad either way for him. He didn't end up watching with the band by the way who were obviously disappointed with the final score but I have to say even though David James let 4 goals in, he had a a pretty hard job and the best team on the day won. Kudos to Germany! That was my question! That just totally made my day! Thanks Oracle:heart:
June 29, 201015 yr June 29, 2010 - submitted by Katie, United States of America Q. Hello Oracle, Since your judgement is probably more accurate than mine, do you agree that Phil looks like a slightly older Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (from the Dutch team)? The Oracle replies: I can see what you mean as there's a similarity but it was hard to find a larger version of photo were they looked the same. This one was the best I could find.
June 29, 201015 yr June 29, 2010 - submitted by Greg, United States of America Q. On May 1st, 2009, you said Coldplay has an interesting history with Atlanta. I was wondering what are the specifics of said history? I would love to know since I'm from Atlanta and the biggest Coldplay fan in that city, and yes this is verifiable. :-) The Oracle replies: The interesting history began on September 14th 2002 when adverse weather conditions forced the band to cancel their show in Atlanta on the eve of the gig. They felt so bad at having to pull the concert at such short notice that Chris and Jonny performed an impromptu acoustic gig in the car park for fans. On 6 March 2003 special guest Elton John joined Coldplay onstage for Trouble. Michael Stipe of REM has also performed (Nightswimming) with the band in Atlanta on September 28th 2005.
June 30, 201015 yr June 30, 2010 - submitted by Sara, United States of America Q. How so you clean a tablespoon of sugar out of a computer keyboard and leave no evidence? Please reply, or my mother will kill me!! The Oracle replies: Silly billy! When I've needed to clean dust from my pc's keyboard I find a soft, clean and dry paintbrush does the trick. My mac's keyboard was fairly easy to remove and replace. There are tips to help you with this problem but if you opt for removal, maybe get a friend to record you with a camera so you can watch it back if you're nervous about making a mistake. Remember to erase the video of course because you specifically wanted to leave no evidence! June 30, 2010 - submitted by Mapi, Colombia Q. Are you going to watch The Twilight Saga: Eclipse? Everyone's excited; today's the big premiere. The Oracle replies: I probably will watch it yes but only because I have read the books and invested time in the first two films both if which I found disappointing. Actually come to think of it, I wasn't crazy about the books so maybe I won't go after all!

July 1, 201015 yr June 30, 2010 - submitted by Emma, United States of America Q. Hey Oracle! :) I looked at the 51st Grammys feature you posted already and read through it. I saw that Will and Chris have the same favorite song, is there a particular reason or is it a coincidence? Thank you! :D The Oracle replies: I'm sure that you and your friends share the same taste in music and therefore may have the same favourite song(s). Given that Chris & Will are making music together I'd say it's even more likely that they would have the same likes and interests musically. The song in question is Fairytale Of New York by The Pogues & Kirsty MacColl which features at the top of countless people; especially musicians.
July 1, 201015 yr July 1, 2010 - submitted by Colin, United States of America Q. Hey Oracle, What is Hunting High and Low? Colin The Oracle replies: As you've written it that's a title of a song by A-ha that Coldplay have been known to cover live. Generally speaking I'm sure you know that it means searching absolutely everywhere...
July 1, 201015 yr July 1, 2010 - submitted by Tyler, United States of America Q. Is it Chris' handwriting on the cover of the Roadie book? It surely looks like Mr. Martin's penmanship! The Oracle replies: Er, quite simply, no. It's not a Coldplay book; it's about Matt's life with them so it's not endorsed specifically therefore other than the foreword there's no handwritten stuff or otherwise...
July 3, 201015 yr July 2, 2010 - submitted by Griff, United Kingdom Q. Hey all knowing Oracle. Chris was photographed yesterday with strapping on his thumb. Is it broken? How did he do it? Thanks Griff The Oracle replies: It's not broken but he did sustain an injury from a paintballing incident. I'm not joking either... but you should see the other guy ;)
July 3, 201015 yr July 2, 2010 - submitted by Zeashan, United Arab Emirates Q. What's the story? The Oracle replies: Morning Glory?
July 3, 201015 yr July 2, 2010 - submitted by Benjamin, United States of America Q. Dear Oracle, You recently answered a question about the new Twilight movie, saying that you've read the books, my question is... are you a woman? because I've yet to meet a man who has ever even picked up one of those books. The Oracle replies: I am not alone. The first book was a gift and I confess I would never have picked it up otherwise but it felt rude not to read it. Confession time... I actually haven't read the final installment as I really did not enjoy the first three!
July 3, 201015 yr July 2, 2010 - submitted by Melisa, Argentina Q. Hi Oracle. Can you please tell me why the guys have a hand on their VLV jackets?? Does it have a meaning for them? Please answer... Thank you and Love for you all from Argentina! The Oracle replies: It's only Will that has a hand on his jacket as it's the same as his tattoo - of his daughter's hand print.

July 3, 201015 yr  Haha. "Incidient" let's hope she doesn't mean he punched the guy who shot him :PHa are you suggesting that Berryman and Chrissy fathered 2 of Will's kids? :P Maybe he punched a pap trying to get a pic of him playing paintball. And WTF is Christopher doing playing with fake guns any how. Stop paintball violence now!
July 3, 201015 yr Ha are you suggesting that Berryman and Chrissy fathered 2 of Will's kids? :P Or Will fathered their kids... :uhoh: What have I uncovered?! :wreck: :P
July 3, 201015 yr Or Will fathered their kids... :uhoh: What have I uncovered?! :wreck: :P Just blame it on the heat .... :laugh3: It wasn't you who was saying that ... you were already in a delirium :D And as for the paintballing *cough* I have a theory who that other 'guy' was :laugh3: Actually, maybe it wasn't even a guy ;) Nuff said ... :lipsrsealed2:
July 3, 201015 yr Someone needs to ask the Oracle a follow-up question about the hands on the jackets, since obviously it's really not just Will.
July 3, 201015 yr I like that they have POT plants all over, :laugh3: No wonder they like being in the studio... I would have said "Potted" plants, "It's taken such a hold that pot plants in the tiny studios - also in north London - are everywhere. A pal said: "With all the greenery in there it's now a real squeeze."
July 5, 201015 yr July 5, 2010 - submitted by Allie, United States of America Q. Greetings Oracle. What did you think of Suarez's handball against Ghana? The Oracle replies: I don't refer to it as handball; it was no accident nor "hand of god" but a full on save! He did what any other player would have done to stop the ball from going in and as it goes it was the right decision because it got his team through albeit via penalties. I'm sure he won't regret that decision and quite honestly I would have done the same. I loved the match and the 31st minute was the most exciting I've seen all tournament. July 5, 2010 - submitted by Jay, United Kingdom Q. Dear Oracle, I have been trying to work this out for months now, and I had the idea to ask you. What is the Rush of Blood to the head Album artwork based on? Thanks in Advance Jay The Oracle replies: Watch out for Anchorman's look at AROBTTH in a future installment of his Cover Artwork series... July 5, 2010 - submitted by Margaret, United Kingdom Q. Oracle, is it true that 5th band member Phil moved to Australia for a few years? The Oracle replies: It is indeed true. He left the UK in 2002 and eventually made it to Australia where he studied Psychology. I have it on good authority that he became a fan of Mrs. Ashmead's home cooking whilst there.
July 6, 201015 yr but i keep asking them like 50 times each!! maybe that's why, the wise oracle is just annoyed w/ me
