Andy needs a hat change, that thing must weigh a ton.

I'm wondering, if the scoreboard is able to take scores like 100, etc.

Aww

I was rooting for Roddick.

OMG that was amazing. Such a close match. Roddick was playing so so so well.

The only time Federer broke Roddick's serve would be @ championship point!

Roddick was so close!

It just keeps me thinking that the one that can stop Roger Federer is Rafael Nadal.

it sucks that the rumours about his knee state are bad. ): Let's hope they're not true.

I have such conflicting opinions here

I am genuinely gutted for A Rod

But at the same time so happy for Fed.

I'm the same, but much more on the gutted side. The match was absolutely amazing in a different way from last year. I've never seen anything like it, but then I never saw anything like the two previous finals either.

As painful as it is, what Roddick accomplished today surpassed everybody's expectations. He broke Federer twice, while holding serve for 7+ sets worth of tennis with only half the aces of federer. This is nothing like their last 3 final pairings, because Roddick equaled the world's greatest in every aspect of the game, something only Nadal has done before. And in doing so, changed the way the world sees Roddick as a tennis player.

Not as a one hit wonder, who hangs around but is too weak to truly contend, but the man who didn't give Roger Federer anything for four full hours.

*turns off inspirational music*

Awesome tennis especially the serves of both players, nail biting stuff right to the end at times i wish i was there to just shout "Come on Roger!". Credit to Roddick he gave it his all but the King of Grass reigns supreme again.

Saw the FULL match and it was exhilarating. So disappointed for Roddick but very honoured to have watched the greatest player ever break Pistol Pete's record.

Only managed to see the last set but that was AMAZING! Well done Roger ;)

Aw, I'm gutted Roddick was beat there at the end - he put up *such* a good fight and it really could have gone either way...he played a near perfect match - he should be so proud of himself.

And Fed's such a cocky twat having the 15 printed on his jacket before he'd even won...!

Nice to see ole Monkey Boy Pete watching on from the Royal Box..

I don't think it was Fed's decision to have a jacket like that, my guess is that Nike made it "just in case".

And yeah, Andy almost made me cry, I really like him.
