Andy has finally learned to let loose and play Grand Slam tennis. The 1st 3 times he reached a slam final, he was way too nervous to fight and play good tennis. Things changed at this year Wimbledon. Hopefully today is the day. He's way too good not to have won a grand slam already at this point in his career. He made a great choice in hiring Lendl as a coach. Was one hell of a nervy night! Amazing for Britain and Scotland! Hopefully the flood gates will open for Andy and he will go on to win several more majors, of which I am sure of. September 10th 1936 was the day Fred Perry became the last British victor at a Grand Slam tournament, until September 10th 2012 came around thanks to Andy Murray. Reilly Posted October 15, 2012 Share Posted October 15, 2012 It really is legendary, when Nadal and Djokovic looked like they were going to take advantage of a Roger Federer seemingly dipping in form a few seasons ago, it looked like when he lost the No.1 spot he probably wouldn't get it back.
