March 26, 200917 yr I thought in wake of this new article, I should make a thread for people to post if they think they are a "Coldplay Superfan". If you think you are, give evidence as to why that is!
March 26, 200917 yr Author I'll start. Ahem...I'm a CSF because: I've been listening to Coldplay since the early days of Shiver and Yellow releases. I check this place everyday. I check the official website everyday. I own countless CDs, Mp3s, Vinyls of all their singles, albums etc. The two concert's I've been to, I was first in line at the first one. And 2nd in line at the 2nd. I went all the way to London, to the Bakery. And I rang the doorbell!! Yayyy! :lol: ...but I got rejected.. :cry:

'Guerrero then explained what being a Coldplay superfan meant to him. “It’s when all of your friends tell you that you’ve become crazy, when they tell you that they didn’t know that fans like you even existed. It’s when you get excited just to talk about them. It’s when you realise that fan is a word with three letters that doesn’t explain what you feel and conclude that you are not just a fan but something far away from that.” A true disciple then, and one who indulges his obsession on his site run for 500 other dedicated Mexican fans, many of who he galvanised to sing Happy Birthday to Chris when the band played there several years ago in Mexico City.''

I wake up 2 hours earlier on mornings just to listen to coldplay before i go to work then while on my way to work i listen to them on my ipod and then while at work i often go off to the washoom for a few minutes in the day with my ipod so I can listen.... I turn down going to the club with my friends and bfriend on weekends just so I can stay home and listen to coldplay and come on coldplaying.com..............In August I'll be quitting my job and moving to London which gives me easier access to see who COLDPLAY................... blue_girl ............see you in Wembley 2009

March 26, 200917 yr I'm a superfan when they're releasing new stuff, or I'm at one of their concerts. For instance, in March/June of 2008 Coldplay was all I listened to. On a day like today I might listen to one or two Coldplay songs, but I mostly listen to other bands at the moment.
March 26, 200917 yr i'm a CSF because: -i always listen to their music. -i always talk about them. -i have to know where they are at all times or i'll get upset. -when i listen to any of their songs that have any sort of relation to me, i cry my eyes out. -i don't think there's anything i wouldn't do to go to their concerts in philly. -i'm going to three concerts in less than a year. -i dressed up as jonny for halloween. -i love coldplaying with a passion! -whenever my friends say something mean about them i get SEROIUSLY defensive. -i love coldplay more than anything in the world!!! :D!!!!

March 26, 200917 yr what exactly qualifies you to be a superfan? I think everyone has their own ideas, and I know I am not a superfan purely for the fact I don't have all that much money to waste on them and I think I would go slightly insane if I were to eat/drink/sleep Coldplay. I like Keane too much to do that!
March 26, 200917 yr I am Superfan. I come from the planet known as ChrisTon, and my only weakness is ChrisTonite. Some people call me "The Man of Strawberry Swing". I also have a dog named Christo. When I'm not busy making love to Lois Lost+, I'm busy stopping such devious criminals as Lex Lhuna or Joe Satriani. I can fly to any concert I want and even have X-ray vision that enables me to see through Chris's brain.
March 26, 200917 yr I think I'm a CSF because, I like many of us on here, Live by Coldplay. My friends think Im obsessed but they don't understand. I have all their albums, eps, random songs... I havn't got to experience them live by I'm hoping that will change this summer. Everytime I hear a Coldplay song on the radio or TV, I shriek like the fan girl I am :) Maybe I'm not as super as some of you, but... I am :)
March 26, 200917 yr Although I have never been to a concert of theres (I am this year!!!!!!), I AM A SUPERFAN! All i talk about is music and especially Coldplay, all my friends hate them, but I stick with them nevertheless, I listen to them all the time, I sing them all the time, I am in love with this forum since I joined, I went mental when I first heard Violet Hill........then played it about 100 times! IT IS MY DREAM TO SEE COLDPLAY, MEET THEM AND RECORD A SONG WITH THEM! :P Chris Martin is my idol and the other three, Will, Guy and Jonny are absolutely awesome players! They are all nice guys! I AM A BLOODY COLDPLAY FREAK
