Confirmed: Coldplay to give away live CD 'LeftRightLeftRightLeft' at 2009 shows | Tracklisting | Art

Yeah my interpretation is that the track is given away online, not the album. The album will only be physical, and then of course, it is probably up to the file sharers...

Best Fucking Band in the whole fucking world:drummer::guitarist::singer::guitarist::clap::clap::clap::clap:

AMAZING!!!

Making the whole Live CD available on coldplay.com... wouldn't that miss the point of thanking people who go to concerts?

I hope we'll get the track!

Or do you think it'll be a hidden track on the album even?

Pretty sure the track will be universally available. The album won't. If not I will eat my words, and blame the way they wrote their press release.

Thank you Coldplay! Though I doubt they'll be giving this one away at All Points West, I'm still grateful!

Although, their website says "Nine track album to be available at shows and online"

I am SO confused. Hopefully the oracle fixes this up.

Sorry for getting carried away but I really want to hear a potential new track!!!!!

I think they are going to have the track available for download on the site.I think they would contradict their idea of giving it away at the concerts and then have it available for download on the site as well.Or they could be doing that for the people who cant make it to the concerts...now im condradicting myself.

to me the second option is the right one, not all the fans will be able to go to their shows for whatever reason, so the free download is for them, those going to the gigs will have the pretty physical copy :)

also they're referring to the same time frame the download will be available, meaning from May 15 till the end of the year, and I don't see it done for just a track, both Violet Hill and Death Will Never Conquer have been available for free in the past just for a short amount of time, not half a year

The club welcomes you.

But one would think that the track Left Right Left Right Left would be included on the album...

Mhmm, yes, the title says it actually... :\

So there's still hope for a hidden track...

But again:

FANTASTIC NEWS!

I'm really looking forward to "The Hardest Part/Postcards From Far Away" and "Glass of Water" (ok, and all the other ones!)

The way it seems, I don't think the track will be included at all, if it would be I'm sure Anchorman would have said so... It's clearly the whole tracklist posted.

But maybe... they'll surprise us with a new track:sneaky:, you never know :)

Holy shit. What great news. I'm not going to be able to get one, though. :bigcry: So depressing. I was pretty sure that he meant that only the song would be available online... but maybe the whole album? Though it would be nice for people who aren't able to go to those concerts, wouldn't that kind of take away the point? I'm confused. Will the song be released at all?

Well if the track LRLRL is not included in the album it will be the first time ever that Coldplay have released an album without the title track on it, so my guess is the same as Anna's and that it will be a "hidden" track.

As for what will be available for download...that's anybody's guess. It was a really ambiguous announcement.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!

NEW TRACK AND NEW LIVE ALBUM!!!!

Making the whole Live CD available on coldplay.com... wouldn't that miss the point of thanking people who go to concerts?

What about the first leg of shows they did earlier this year? Those people would miss out on getting thanked :)

I'm pretty sure it's the whole album online and I don't think the track will be included, but the title intrigues me.

It's quite bothersome that they felt the need to put Clocks and Fix You on the album. But hey, at least we've got Glass of Water. The Hardest Part is going to be piano only, right? That's sooooo awesome. It makes me very, very happy.

YES YES HOLY SHIT YES!

I'm gonna get twoooooooooooooooooo :D :D

Aw, this news is so good that it made me forget for a minute that I'm stuck in bed with the flu! How are Coldplay SO FUCKING AMAZING to their fans?!?!!?!

yay! I can't wait! :D

The artwork is so pretty! :D
