Well if the track LRLRL is not included in the album it will be the first time ever that Coldplay have released an album without the title track on it, so my guess is the same as Anna's and that it will be a "hidden" track.

 

As for what will be available for download...that's anybody's guess. It was a really ambiguous announcement.

 

I dont think itll be on the album because its not even been played live yet.

Coldplay is really, really, really amazing. I can't think of another band that's been doing so much for the fans like them. What a wonderful way of demonsrating gratitude! :smug:

 

Well, what if they play LRLRL anywhere soon? :P I dunno, I think a hidden track is a great idea, even if they don't play it live. It would be the exception of the live album, but it would not be odd to see it there thought.

wow this is incredible. coldplay have truly given their fans everything since the beginning of the viva process.

 

i have never felt so like...thanked for being a fan. they go out of their way to do great things for us. we really do support one of the nicest bands in the business.

 

when you like someone's music you rarely think you're going to get anything back than they already give. coldplays music has healed me and brought me to tears. i owe them, not the reverse.

 

the fact that they show so much dedication to their fans and remain humble despite all their success just makes you love these guys even more.

We get the piano version of The Hardest Part, Will doing DWNC, and an epic sing-along VLV. All it's missing is the Talk/GPASUYF techno.

 

All we need now is that actual song of LeftRightLeftRightLeft, which I still don't see anything about on Coldplay.com. I think the free download thing is referring to the entire album, but I could be wrong.

That's the second thing that came into my mind, after freaking out about the news of the album! I just thought, "Where's the GPASUYF/Talk live mix?!?" That's something you can't hear anywhere else, and I personally loved it. It would have sounded better than the bootleg version I have, LOL. But if they took a poll of the most popular tracks to put on a live album, that might not have made the list then :( Oh well, I'm still not complaining. This is amazing!!!!

 

I also think the whole album will be up for download, not just LeftRightLeftRightLeft. I hope the track makes it in there, even though it's not listed. And I love the symbolism of the artwork, and how only those who have seen the live show will recognize it ;)

 

This is extremely nice of them, and I'm glad that even though Coldplay lives a bajillion miles away from me and doesn't know my name, or the names of most of their fans, they are still nice enough to acknowledge the fact that we are there, and we support them, even when some of us (me) are strapped for cash.

 

I have always liked to think that Coldplay is worth the money. I mean, the shows kick ass and the albums are amazing. This gesture now proves that they are worth it; they care beyond just going on tour and putting out CD's. Gracias Coldplay!
