What would be the point of putting LeftRightLeftRightLeft on the album if it isn't live, though?

Because we haven't heard it and want to really :censored: bad!!!!

So suppose the title track is included, then we can still moan over Famous Old Painters, Lukas, and The Dubliners, right?

Well we've already pretty much heard all there is hear of 'the dubliners'

We have? Is there a sample of it somewhere?

They've played it live a few times. Its only about a minute long and wouldn't really be worth recording a studio version.

Come on boys, I want to relive Wembley on DVD

i like the tracklist:P

i prefer these kind of songs that a collection of singles. (i was expecting viva, violet hill, IMP, clocks, the scientist and yellow)

on the other side... it'll be very short! i guess there'll be a hidden track or something:sneaky:

LIJ? not LIT?

they already officially released live LIT (and live Lost!) as b-sides, so I'm not too fussed about their non-appearance on this live album

Excellent point.

Coldplay to miss out on £10million by giving away free live album

Coldplay are giving their fans a free live album – and missing out on a £10million fortune.

The Brit rockers will give the nine-track CD LeftRightLeftRightLeft to anyone attending their Viva La Vida summer tour, which comes to the UK in September.

And the album – which includes live versions of hit songs such as Clocks and Fix You – will also be available as a free download from their website during the length of the tour, starting on May 15.

Lead singer Chris Martin said it was a “recession-busting mark of gratitude” to fans.

He added: “Playing live is what we love. This album is a thank-you to our fans – the people who give us a reason to do it and make it happen. It’s a tough economy and people are paying a lot of money for tickets.”

Music business experts reckon that releasing the record in the normal way could have netted the band at least £10million.

But the album, recorded over the past year in various cities, will not please bosses at the band’s struggling label EMI which has relied on their success for its revenues.

Terra Firma acquired stock market-listed EMI for just over £4billion, saddling it with £2.5billion of debt in the process.

Guy Hands, who became chairman, quickly moved to cut costs. A source said: “They are cutting costs in every way they can think of and this probably won’t cheer them up very much.”

The band will finish their tour in the UK with two dates at Wembley stadium in September.

Sheesh, that is a hefty amount, but suppose they can afford it and good on them for sucking up the cost (EMI that is, most likely).

And that stuff about EMI not being happy, I'm sure they figured something out, because Viva got them so much revenue its ridiculous. Coldplay is just about saving them after all.

Just another example why they are the best band in the world

Every Tom, Dick and Harry will be giving away free CD's after this (maybe not albums though!).
