Don't worry - there studio is still in London (as far as I know) so I'm guessing once the tour is over they will be back there most of the time! :)

 

I guess having a base in the US is good for their families - more settled.

I think it's pretty cool.My dad has l2 house.One in Europe and one in Canada.He lives in Europe most of the time but he has to work in Canada quite a lot so at least he doesn't have to stay at a hotel (or my place).MUCH more convenient.I guess it's the same for Guy and the rest of the band.They use it as a base so often and do recordings here so it's a lot easier (and probably cheaper) to own your place than stay at the hotel where it never feels like home

Coldplay bassist Guy Berryman paid $2.65 million for a condo at 79 East 2nd Street in 2009. Maybe it was an attempt to take advantage of a market bottom, because he relisted the place in December hoping for a nearly $2 million profit. He didn't quite make it, but the place did sell fairly quickly, according to a deed that hit public record today. The buyer is fashion designer Kaelen Farncombe, who paid $4.15 million for the 3,000-square-foot, 3BR, 2.5BA place. Anyway, Guy has good taste for fashion and decoration, he should make something with that...

I love that apt..With the wood floors and brick walls,it looks very warm

 

I hated pics of Chris and Gwyneth's apt and Hamptons house..A lot of white and I thought very cold looking and too much marble
