Album #2 due November 7th. Paul Epworth has produced everything on it. He was behind Rabbit Heart, Howl, Cosmic Love, and Blinding on the debut album (basically, the best songs on there).

Just saw the music video and I couldn't help squeeing!! Flo at her best! I like the recording version :)

 

NME said that LP2 had 12 tracks. (+ 10000 about Paul Epworth, you can follow him on twitter, he gave a lot of Flo pic during recording sessions @paulepworth )

this song is REALLY good. powerful and uplifting which is what I find in a lot of Florence songs, can't wait for the album!

Just listened to "What the Water Gave Me" and really thought it was a strong single. I liked it better than a few of the songs on Lungs.

 

@Corkus, you think Rabbit Heart is one of the stronger songs on Lungs? It's actually my least favorite song, despite the fact that I adore that whole album. I still like it, but I just didn't care for it as much as some of the others.

It's definitely the weakest of the 4 I listed, but I prefer it to a few other songs on the album.

Which ones didn't you like? Just curious. I think one of the standout tracks for me was Hurricane. Sometimes I can't stop humming it.

Ghosts and You've Got the Love are the two I'm more lukewarm on, though I don't think YGTL was originally meant to be on the album.

Yeah, I agree with you on YGTL. I didn't care for her rendition too much, but it's still good.

 

 

So, I've listened to the new single 5x in a row and it just gets better the more I listen. I'm really looking forward to this new album!
