I had a thought last night, after this tour comes to a conclusion what clothes will coldplay wear with their next album? Will it link in with the new album?, will they go back to the black jacket look. I dont think they will keep the clothes they wear now because that revolutionary look is in context with viva la vida.

Well Chris said that they will give up the Viva clothes after the tour... No news there...! I guess they'll go back to casual clothes...but it's doesn't matter to me how they dress (they could play naked, I wouldn't complain XD), what matters is the new material *w*

I'm hoping they come up with a new look for the next album.

I think it depends on the direction they will take with the music itself. What they wear is a message on its own but it's a continuation from the music they have created on album. At least, that's what I think :)

i agree with that.

honestly i think they don't know themselves what they'll wear, if they have not yet a final version of their new material, they can't have other secondary ideas that come with the idea of the album.... that in case they decide to take a look that goes with the album concept.

 

i kinda think they should take some classic rock look, i find annoying that other genres seem to protect them while rock artists seem to dislike them, is a bit weird all that :freak: but may be is just my impression.

 

anyways i would care more about what they will sound like ;) i'd like they go a bit rocky and add some instruments like good piano intros and may be some violins, it'll be good, or try to go a bit more progressive/experimental may be.

 

once they have reached the level they have got with this album, they should go back to what should be more important in a band, that is: MUSIC.

I thought they looked "gorge" (as Gwyneth would say) in their Viva outfits, the black of X&Y were nice at the time but look so sloppy compared to Viva. The Viva outfits are really sexy, maybe go with jackets and slim pants again, but no crazy colors. As for music, I'm open to anything they do but always have my fingers crossed for an album heavy with piano.

I think that they will pretty much wear whatever complies or goes with their album.

I pray its back to casual, I don't care if they all wanna dress alike, just as long as its normal.

Did anyone predict their current status back at the end of X&Y? I don't think so. I believe we won't be able to predict what's next either. Just sit back and wait to be amazed.

Agreed. We don't really like to get naked. Partly due to our pasty skin. However, since moving to the States I must say I have a decent farmer's tan going :lol:
