I'm an Aries. I used to read my horoscope but I don't anymore. I read somewhere Aries people are natural leaders. There were some negative things, too, but I conveniently forgot them.

I think I'm a pisces but all astrology is bullshit; I like to read horoscopes occasionally just to laugh at how vague and unacurate they are. Also, in the Chinese zodiac, I'm a dog. Inudoshidesu.

 

This reminds me of a story; once my elementary school taught us for a week about astrology accross the world, and I told my dad they were teaching us astrology, and he got into the car and marhed straight into the principles office and yelled at her for not teaching us useful things. It was actually quite epic, she kept trying to calm him down while he kept on yelling at her and I hid in an embarassed heap in the corner.

I am a libra, I don't read the horoscopes. But I do think that people tend to have the characteristics of their starsign, although most of mine are crap. I am not remotely attractive or charming!!! But the indesisive bit is sort of right.

But in response to your story and comment about the public school system, why would it be bad to learn about the astrological beliefs of other cultures? It's not like they're telling you, "Ok everyone horoscopes are real because the stars blah blah." Aren't they just saying... "some people think ___" ? It's like if world religions weren't taught in public schools. A teacher doesn't teach a christian child about Islam to convert them into a Muslim, they are taught so that they can be educated of the differences therefore better understanding conflicts. But for some reason I feel like public schools don't even teach religions anymore.
