August 29, 200916 yr I'm curious as to what other fans like about the music and words to Coldplay songs. Sorry if there's another thread like this.
August 29, 200916 yr Lyrically: Violet Hill is definitely the best in that aspect. Those lyrics are pure GENIUS. But some other excellent ones in my opinion ones are Death And All His Friends, Amsterdam, Fix You, Only Superstition, Lost+, Talk, and White Shadows. Musically: I think musically Life In Technicolor is the BEST of any song ever, not even just any Coldplay song ever. But I also really love Daylight, In My Place, Lost!(I would gladly marry the drum beat in Lost!), Yes, White Shadows, Talk, Low, and Violet Hill.

August 29, 200916 yr Oooh, good question! Lyrically: I could post a million. I would say Politik, Glass of Water, Fix You, and The Hardest Part. Probably Talk too. Musically: Trouble, Life in Technicolor i and ii, Lovers in Japan, Rainy Day, and Speed of Sound. I can't narrow it down. :laugh3:

August 29, 200916 yr i have a really hard time picking favorites. :P lyrically- X&Y, Shiver, IMP, Strawberry Swing, Prospekt's March, Amsterdam musically- Strawberry Swing, Sleeping Sun, Yes, Rainy Day, Chinese Sleep Chant, The Goldrush for both, Ode to Deodorant. that song is ridiculous, sure, but that's what makes it so brilliant. :P
