January 25, 201016 yr Maybe they are thinking of recording one of the Latin America shows, especially since Viva La Vida was influenced so heavily by that region. Here's hoping, either way, they release one after the tour is finally over in March! that'd be awesome :awesome:

If you watch the "MTV World Stage" broadcast from the Tokyo, Saitama Super Arena concerts, you'll notice that Chris' jacket changes between performances, and that had two dates... Like with the Oingo Boingo "Farewell" DVD, that was from their last two performances at the same place (Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles). I had seen their very last show on Halloween '95, and when the DVD came out, I could tell which bits were from the show I saw and which were from the night before... In any event, I had the same thought - maybe if they are still looking to get footage for a live video, it would be from the two Mexico City shows in March. Jason

We have to share our influences with south america + spain :rolleyes: I guess like everybody that they're waiting after the SA tour to release something. I don't know if the concert will be from there (they filmed wembley right?) or if they'll do like Franz Ferdinand and put a song per city... But I suppose they want some SA footage for an eventual documentary?? (R#42 talked about a mysterious video project right?)

I got the feeling that they were filming Wembley, actually, but I don't know :shrug: There certainly were a lot, a lot of different cameras. Hasn't there been talk about someone following them around for the X&Y tour or something and that it's almost done, the boys just need to go through the material? Maybe I've dreamt it, haha. :rolleyes:

January 26, 201016 yr Jason...Oingo Boingo...they played at my high school in the early 80s. Good times. :) Love them! Their "live sound" was much better than what was recorded in the studio, IMO. :) Really underrated band, but I think Danny Elfman is doing okay regardless... ;) Jason
