Like Lady Gaga, and Beyonce's Single Ladies... so they got some competition. I hate those videos, but the "public" loves them.

 

But those are actually good videos. Look at how many parody videos there are of 'Single Ladies'. And 'Paparazzi' is quite epic and disturbing.

Whereas the mainstream video for VLV, is pretty but bland. It's a performance video. There's not much to keep you watching, unlike the cover video.

^Agreed. Viva la Vida definitely wasn't their best video. Actually, I think Lovers In Japan or Strawberry Swing were their best videos. :P

Strawberry Swing was good, but the focus was laid too heavily on Chris.

 

And MTV really is not a good judge on good music.

I personally liked the Violet Hill video. I loved the scenery...:wacko:

But I think Strawberry Swing should have been nominated just for the artistic stuff.
