Coldplay songs that make you cry out of their sheer beauty

Featured Replies

It doesn't have to be your favorite song...just name the song that has made you cry...at least once.

Call me corny or cheesy, but The Scientist always make me cry. So heartfelt..you know those lyrics are just teeming with genuine emotion and love. Chris' voice sounds so lush there. I cry whenever I hear it live.

OH shoot...I forgot about A Message...

Yes, I love that song..because I'm a lonely gal sometimes and it speaks to me. I like to pretend that it's written for me.

If someone serenaded Swallowed In The Sea for me, I would die of love.

First time I heard Fix You....

It still to this day it stands as my favourite song, it somehow always means different things to me everytime I listen, it's perfection <3

Videotape by Radiohead.

OOOOPS, wait!

So true....I always felt this song was overrated. I like it, but the end is what gets me. I love it live, though. I have good memories with that song. Me and my cousins screamed the lyrics to that together..it was a magical moment.

its so freaking amazing live. i dont care that its the corniest song in the world, i love it:heart:

i get those tingles everytime i watch a live performance on the computer, when it gets to jonny's guitar lick. seriously, a perfect musical moment :wacky:

Agreed. So corny, but so beautiful.

It actually really is NOT a special or unique song...but it has a certain something..

A Rush of Blood to the Head.

all of them really. but something about that one

Gravity, Amsterdam, Scientist. Brief description later

Clocks piano gets me every time. And The Scientist. The Hardest Part Live - with Will's harmonies.

Everything's Not Lost or The Scientist

The Scientist helped me through a rough patch in my life back in 2004... So that always gets me choked up.

Also Amsterdam, which is such an elegant, touching song. Especially when Chris sings 'you came along and you cut me loose.' *sigh*

I ran away

Ilove it!! I´t sounds so sad...
